Your Dr should be able to tell you what type of STD you've contacted and the treatment(s) for it. Bacteria STDs can be cured with antibiotics if treated early. Viral STDs cannot be cured but can be managed. If untreated, some STDs can cause permanent damage such as infertility or even death. Unfortunately, its easire to protect against STD than to treat them. Get a good Dr and make sure you take your medication as directed by your Dr. Take care of yourself and I wish you well

Now, before you tell someone to shut up and do their research I think you should tell your self that.

For the most part you are safe from STDs unless you are having sexual intercourse or contact. Toilet seat have long been sited as POSSIBLE or THEORETICAL risk points for some sexually transmitted diseases. However, most professionals will venture to say that it is very VERY RARE to catch an STD from a public toilet seat. Based on theoretical risks that there might be something possible to catch, you can prevent this by being precautious, ie using toilet paper or covers or simply not sitting on the toilet. Keep in mind though that this is again more rare.

Most STDs, such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, and genital warts, are spread only through direct sexual contact with an infected person. Crabs (pubic lice) or scabies, which are often sexually transmitted, can be passed through contact with infested items like clothes, sheets, or towels.

Viruses start to die immediately once they leave the skin of the infected person and moreover it would take a "perfect" scenario to pass to someone else with a toilet involved. The infected person would have to leave behind some sort of virus and then pretty much IMMEDIATELY a person would have to sit on the toilet with broken skin or the wet skin of their privates on the same spot, but even still the virus would already be dying. It usually could not penetrate normal skin like the skin on the back of the buttocks or thigh.

Risks from a Toilet Seat

Crabs
Crabs, or pubic lice, feed on the blood in your genital area. It's one of the most contagious STDs, according to the Mayo Clinic. However, it's still rare for someone to contract crabs by sitting on an infected toilet because the lice can't live away from the body for longer than 24 hours.

Scabies
Scabies is an itchy skin disease caused by mites. In addition to sexual contact, scabies can spread through skin-to-skin contact, though the encounters would have to be very close. You could catch scabies through hugging, according to MedicineNet, but it's unlikely that you would contract it through shaking hands. What kind of dirty office do you work at?
I've been to some office toilets so nice, clean & fresh that I wouldn't mind if they turned one of the stalls into a cubicle.
Know how much time women spend going to the toilet everyday? That's time they could be spent working!
