People tends to leave their food after eating the meat, hence parents train their kids to eat meat last after finishing their food.

It's Poor man mentality bro.

Rich people can eat the meat from start... Or middle...
But poor people will rather wait till the end..not just the end oh...but after he has finished licking the plate, and getting it shinning like lalalastica head, only then will he pick the meat.

Stare at it for a while... Like a village kid staring at a new toy.

God punish poverty.... grin

No! Very far from it.

Our parents, elders then simply device a means of ensuring their kids eat bellyful before indulging in taking meat.

It was observed that kids tends to eat meat and take water, thereby ignoring most of the meal to be ate because the belly is already "filled".

We practiced this then, not because we do not have enough meat or because we were poor. It's simply to ensure we do not run out to play ball and waste food.
