Many goods (imported & locally produced) are cheaper in Kano than in almost evry city in Nigeria, including the coastal municipalities from which these goods are imported One of d reasons is the continues existence of the ‘Guilds of merchants’ as an important economic fabric of Kano. 2 Likes

But over 70 percent of Kano metropolis has access to portable water and most of the remote areas are equipped with borehole facilities... You can't expect something to be 100% a B grade suffice for excellence... If you are living down south and have been hearing negative news about kano then that's mostly false...
