Understanding the power of the first fruit.

God is a God of the first, not the second. Matthew 6:33 says ... seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and every other thing shall be added. The first depicts honour, the first signifies reverence. Giving God the first fruit means you have placed God as first in your life and this is the true position of God. Proverbs 3:9.

Your first earnings or first salary or first profit of the year belongs to God. It is what will secure and multiply the next. It makes God in charge of your finances. The first fruit activates God's covenant of provision and protection. Ezekiel 48:14, Romans 11:16.

You cannot give God the first and lack. You cannot give God the first and be behind. I share this testimony with you. A brother got a job and gave God his first fruit. A couple of days afterwards, he lost his job. But a week later he got a better job that pays him 3 times the previous one with lots of benefits. You cannot give God the first and regret.

It is those who honour God with their first fruit that God honours. God will honour you.

Not first salary. First salary was men trying to bend the scripture.


First fruits is the first one earns from work like the first one one makes similar to how God told Joshua the first harvest of the season so the rest becomes good yield for them for years.


First Fruits is also like disvirgining process. Same way one doesn't get disvirgining twice is the same way it is.

First fruit as first salary of the year may be a personal faith practice doesn't mean first fruit is the first of every year. That's for a pastor to eat returning to Levitical priesthood order


Think of virginity when one longs for marriage in the case of finances abundance, the very first hood yield is to be presented to God. The other sense of annual first fruit is just an annual ritual that doesn't inflict the pain the real first fruit causes just like the disvirgining process hence, it's an act of free will, indoctrination of God and doesn't qualified to be held as a spiritual template.. Upheld as a spiritual law.


It's some pastors who began to dig scripture without understanding it's depth that perpetuated this act and training new trainee pastors who didn't question it


If ministers collect excessively too much, people won't break out of the boys of poverty because the people also needs financial resources to build good lives for themselves

Lies!

First fruit has nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant. The offering of first fruits is instead a part of the Old Covenant, which as it turns out is instead a contract between God and the descendants of Israel....not foreigners as witnessed in Deuteronomy 30.

You obviously are different than most Christians around here. If asked by a theist that isn’t a Christian and doesn’t have knowledge of a judeo-centric concept of God, how would you answer these questions?

What makes Israel so special that God would be so partial towards them?

Why should other cultures reject their Gods for the one that is partial to Israel?
