The problem is that you don't know Who a CHRISTian is, not everyone that goes to church or bear Jewish name is a Christian, CHRISTian means CHRISTLIKE and little-CHRIST, anyone without the attitudes of CHRIST is not CHRISTlike

First answer this question. What makes a genre of music secular? At what point is the term, 'secular' ascribed to a genre of music? Don't you think it is the purpose or message behind the song that matters rather than genre? Think about it.

I think we should be careful about legalism and trying to do transactions with God. It all comes down to how much we love the Lord. If you have a beautiful fiancee that you love dearly and she does not like a particular type of music, will you insist on finding variations of it that are acceptable to her? If she does not want you to go to the house of a particularly immoral female, will you ask if you can stand at the door of said lady without going in? Let love govern your decisions and not what is possible or not possible. As someone who has been very involved in music, I can tell you that genre and sound/beat are not as important as the emotion and actions they inspire. All music is spiritual, all music appeals to the heart. and soul There is no neutral music. Within this framework, let the Holy Spirit then lead you into the greatest levels of devotion to your Lord and maker. Rules and regulations do not work. Let us be led by love towards both him and those who are easily offended among us.
