I feel the BB messenger is overated just cos its associated with an expensive phone model so I wanna do a comparison of both on the following criteria
1. Data/credit consumption: whether on a data plan or credit is used to browse, 2go consumes far far less megabytes than pinging does.
2. Meeting people: the BB using population is nothing compared to tthe nokia using population so with 2go, you have a wider target population
3. Active users : 2go has more active users than the BB messenger ( in naija)
4. File uploads : BB messenger allows larger file size (mb) uploads but 2go only permits kb
5. Alert type: you don't have 2 be @ the BB chat environment to get a loud alert of new message but 2go gives a faint alert once you minimize it
6. Phone compatibility : the probability of having 2go on ur phone is much higher dan that of having a BB messenger cos 2go is compatible with most phone models

Great comparism but so long as they both serve the function of connecting u to pple i dnt rilly see a problem. Its just a mata of want. U can also try nimbuzz and ebuddy messengers respectively
