Today, Wednesday, January 3, 2021, the Member Representing Ini State Constituency and Chief Whip of AkwaIbom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel together with executives and members of Iwere Clan Council inspected the proposed site for IWERE UNITY HALL.

Hon. Bassey in his remarks during the inspection expressed satisfaction with the size of the land and its location, adding that the project, when completed will add value to the community and foster unity among the people.

The Lawmaker furthered assured that work will commence immediately, and with the assurance of the contractor, promised speedy completion of the project.

The Clan Council in their unanimous remark thanked the Lawmaker for his zeal and commitments to the development of the area and promised their unalloyed supports and cooperation to ensure that the project is completed successfully.

Recall that in December, 2020 Iwere Clan Council appointed Rt. Hon. Bassey as Convener of the Planning Committee for Iwere Day Celebration/Launching of Iwere Unity Hall Project; a task he accomplished successfully, evidenced in today's inspection of the project site.
