What is the population of India to Nigeria?

India is over a billion and Nigeria is a little below 200million.

Now the fact-checker says over 150k out of over a billion lives in poverty in India and in Nigeria over 95k out of 200million.

Now critically analysed the above scenarios to tell me where there is more poverty because as far as I am concerned...there is more poverty in Nigeria.

If Peter Obi truly stated that Nigeria has more poor people than India and China combined as stated in the article, then he goofed. What remains true is that: Nigeria has the highest number of poor people in the world. And with GDP growth being so anaemic at below 5%, expect the number of poor people to balloon in the coming years. At least, India is in Asia where the rest of the continent has fairly high GDP growth rates unlike Nigeria where there are more shitholes than anywhere else.
