Hello guys. I am planning on buying a brand-new gaming laptop.. it has:

8gb ram(expandable to 32gb)
1tb hdd
258gb ssd
Nvidia geforce (1650ti)
Intel core i5(10th gen)
Up to 5.0ghz cpu frequency
And battery give up to 4 hours of intense use.

Please I just wanted to know if these specs are going to be enough for learning programming.

Are you normal please answer me? If I see this Laptop I will be happy!! This will run Emulator in Android Studio like a Dangote cement truck carrying 1200 bags of cement without knowing anything.
If you don't need it please give me abeg.
That laptop is good enough for any programing task you want to do.

Intel Core i5 10300H
Number of Cores 4
Number of Threads 8
Processor Base Frequency 2.50 GHz
Max Turbo Frequency 4.50 GHz · Cache 8 MB Intel® Smart Cache · TDP 45 W

I hope you understand the above.

Regardless, your laptop would work just fine.

That laptop is good for everything and it will last long. Get it now. If the naira devalues further such a laptop might be selling for 3 million naira and above. I remember just 4 years back a very good gaming laptop was around 250k now you need around 600k to get one.

There is no core i5 processor that offers you up to 5.0ghz turbo boost frequency. Better confirm to make sure they didn't just ass pull the specs.

Too expensive if you ask me. Bought a better one, and price not even close to this.

Mine is helios 300 (2019 model)
