I noticed the slightly elevated engine temperature in all Corolla of these year, that is caused by dishonesty dealer wey don roll back the Odo meter.

It's 09 corolla. That s guage after driving for 30 mins upwards

Have the same car of the same year.most of the temp gauge I've seen is slightly higher than middle gauge.dunni know the reason for this. The rpm is abysmally low. Car has probably been I reheating without driver knowing about it? Pls check to know if thermostat hasn't been disabled. What kinda coolant are you using?

No coolant o. I use water. The car was overheating in November last year and I had to change the to cylinder gasket when it burnt.

Don't rely on gauge, get a scan.

So the car has been scanned, top cylinder changed, timing reset. The temp guage is still like that, and also the car now jerks, and stops intermittently at hold ups when it's moving slowly.
Electrician even removed the security that was constructed on it. the car moves well on speed, its just the jerking, stopping and temperature that rises that are my issues.

The car is not overheating it is normal, the problem is you take it to mechanic first to tamper with it then ask questions later.
You should never get a mechanic to work on your car without a scan code then you google it.
Mechanics are sometimes overzealous and tamper with things they don't understand

Just a little bit over the Normal mark. Not overheating at the moment but may do anytime after this. Seems like your radiator fan is a bit weak.
