GUI(Graphical user interface): This is a form of user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices through graphical icons and audio indicator such as primary notation, instead of text-based user interfaces, typed command labels or text navigation. Before going to buy a set, make sure you know what a Samsung tizen interface or Lg webos interface looks like

. Refresh rate(Hz): This is the number of times a tv refreshs it's images per seconds. This feature isn't always looked at but this is important as it determines picture blur. The higher the hz, the less blur on your set. Go for sets above 60hz

. Year of Production: Most times people choose to go for recent sets because of functionalities and picture quality. That's a good observation but you'll want to know that for me, 2015,16 and 17 Samsung smart sets are my favourite . They got strength coupled with good picture quality.

. Burn: Some tv sets have patch but the mean nothing especially on Samsung. They can last better than perfect screen sets but on LG OLED, they could mean underlining problems

. Picture/sound test: Always insist on doing both. Not from a flash drive but the Samsung TV's own test. All original sets has it. Best video to test picture quality, audio and burn still remains ......Controlla by Maleek berry. Has vast colour scenes

For a soundbar, Check the output and the clarity. Samsung and sony remain the toppers on clarity and bass, JBL is the god of Bass. Panasonic bass output is also outstanding even on their smaller sets. LG has awesome output too and is good for a calm room settings as they have good equaliser
