Hello Engineers in the house. I do need the audio driver for the HP Compaq nx6125 Laptop running on Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bits). The rest of the drivers are installed properly. But then i do need this one. Its more important for now.

download the audio driver from the link above and install in a compatibility mode
Remember to change the dot to (.)

But the driver i need is for Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bits) and not on Windows XP. But the one you specified, will it actually configure it.

If u read my post very well, I instructed you to install in a COMPATIBILITY mode. This is a way to use xp or vista drivers on window 7 if u cant find the window 7 version of the needed driver on hp website

Thanks so much. I have successfully configured the Audio using the Win Vista compatible Audio Driver.

Also for Windows 7 64-bit, you can use the drivers on HP website, just select the drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit, they are compatible (no need to use the Compatibility framework of Windows, it just does work).
