My ex girlfriend tried to used jealousy as a way to know if I truly love her. She was acting like she had another guy to see my reaction. But after I did not show any concern, she then confront me to ask me if I really love her as I did not question any of her behaviour. This evening again while talking with my new girlfriend, she told me to act jealous as another way of showing my love to her. One thing I also noticed is that most of my exs were jealous and control freak kind of girls. My new girlfriend is also exhibiting traits of jealousy too - She said, it a way of showing love too. Why do girls/people resort to the used of jealousy often as a way of showing love...  Is it healthy to use jealousy as a way of expressing love in a relationship?? |

OP there are things you are doing that your ladies use to spot weakness, hence their using jealousy to check if you love them. They are sending a signal to you that you are not expressive of what they consider love. Since this is a reoccurring event. Check your vibes |

Girls use it on me a lot cos I play dumb if I am not really interested when they know full well of my proficiency. Exjoker: Because, ... it's in some way an expression of fear over the thought of losing someone, which if rightly channeled and received should be mutual respect and the greatest admiration both partners have for each other. I want to know you value me and are not so willing to drop me. And you also don't want to let the person go so easily/without no effort. I don't believe the right amount is good, AT ALL, because "...love is not jealous, ...is not easily provoked...." Whether as as an act or real, I don't consider it a good thing. If you're honest and true to each other, allaying any fears of "drifting," I see no reason for it. - I also see it as having the biggest level of trust for your partner if you're not ruffled, as in your case.
