3 most common mistakes people make in business that'll make you financially independent for life once avoided:

1.) Not researching on the market:

There are two concepts to this:

One, they didn't research the business model. Sir, you can't be selling 50 naira pure water and be expecting to become a multi millionaire in a year. Neither can you be selling 10 naira biscuit and expect to make a million in the next two months. Do the math

1,000,000 ÷ 10 = 100,000

You have to sell 10 naira biscuit to hundred thousand customers. It doesn't work that way,sir.

Selling pure water to get to a million doesn't work the same way as selling commodities of 200k to get to a million.

The second concept is lack of market research: In order to have your business boom, you have to stand out amongst the crowd. If your name doesn't enter people's mind when it comes to expertise in a specific niche or field, brother sister, you have a very long way to go.

You must be the best and be known to offer quality if you want people to chase you with their money.

You have to identify the ups and downs in the market. Imagine you live on a State that's known for fish markets and of all things that comes to your mind to sell is fish?

You shouldn't set your business in an area that already has a product in abundance making it very difficult to break in. You don't need a layman to tell you that everyone in the State will be selling fish equally. This is a mistake that will result in failure from the start. You have to find an opening or unmet need within a market and then fill it rather than try and push your product or service in. It's a lot easier to satisfy a need rather than create one and convince people that they should spend money on it.

Before I forget, make sure you get what the market NEEDS not what you want or what you think they NEED. There's a difference

2.) Not drafting out a business plan

You should have a plan for your business. The plan should clearly state the goals you want to achieve, how you will achieve those goals and the solutions to possible problems you will encounter along the way.

A life with no goal is a life with no flow.

If you have a solid business plan, you'll always know how your money enters and how it goes out. In other words, you'll be able to track the flow of your income. Whether you're wasting your multi millions or you're putting them to good use.

To cut the long story short, you need to have a visible and solid plan of your growth strategy. That's the only way you can improve and continue growing.

3.) Marketing strategy is not creative enough:

Back in the days were the existence of billboards, posters and newspaper ads. They were the only way to market goods.

But with the invention of the Internet, marketing becomes whole lot easier. Despite this, businesses still fail to be flexible enough to adjust to the Internet so they fade out before they're even born.

Bringing the business online is the easy part.

The main work is driving traffic to your marketplace.

People will not just wake up in the morning and log in to Instagram just to view your feeds or enter Twitter to see your threads without any reason. You are not even paying them money for it.

You have to be creative to drive audience to you. When people view your page, let them com out with testimonies that you made their day.

Through those means, you can then integrate what you're marketing with your posts. It'll motivate them to bring out their wallets since they already know and enjoy your content.
That's why celebrities and influencers get richer.

You should also know places where your target audience are to go and feed them with your offers.
