Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned the alleged attempt by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho.


Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister had raised the alarm that DSS operatives and policemen numbering 40 made an attempt to arrest the activist along the Ibadan/Lagos Expressway on Friday.

Reacting, Nnamdi Kanu on his Twitter handle, warned that Sunday Igboho should not be touched.

“I condemn in totality the pathetic attempt to arrest Sunday Igboho earlier today.

“This is yet another deliberate act of provocation by the Fulani Caliphate. No #Fulani mass murderer, Miyetti Allah or bandit is under arrest. Nigeria is on the brink! Igboho should not be touched,” he warned.


Meanwhile, the secret service in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, distanced itself from the allegation.

Afunanya stressed that the news was misinforming and should be disregarded.

A kind hearted truck driver that gave me a lift from a remote village was almost lynched by Ipob members why because he stopped in obedience to traffic rules and of course, the members were also in a bus but don't have patience for any traffic light , infact they are law to themselves. The driver was directly in front of them. They almost killed him that day. Before 2023, by God's grace, I will be out of this country like Kanu and watch and laugh behind cameras like kanu used to do to his brainwashed followers after his broadcast

I was supposed to attend a funeral at Ihiala in Anambra this coming weekend but a friend's sister's wedding stopped that travel.
We need to take back the South East from a thug like Nnamdi Kanu. He keeps whinning his followers with a promise of a paradise-like Biafra but he keeps changing the date. The worst is that his brain washed followers are getting bolder by the day and getting imprisoned or killed while he cools off in London

two days ago, they killed two police men who are core kanu lovers and supporters. I saw their widows at Awka and I wept. Kanu is getting it all wrong. With the weapons I saw in the hands of these people, they will not used it to get Biafra, just watch how they will use to to murder, rob and assassinate their fellow igbos. They have started already.

Wonder shall never end. Adadike are you the one saying this? When we were warning you guys about the beast these IPOB members are turning you refused to answer us and instead some of you lots called us effulefu. Now they are now getting close to Boko Haram level. Painfully, na south east go suffer am if something drastic is not done on time. I just hope it is not too late
