We are in a world of choices. Our eternal destiny lies in our hands. I did not say in our power or that it is by our power. We cannot save ourselves but we can choose and follow the way of salvation thereby saving ourselves.

When we choose the way of the Lord and His guidance over that of the devil or the world, we are walking in the right way. The choice is open before us. God's grace is sufficient for us and His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses when we are willing and open to ask, receive and execute what we need to. It is not always easy but it is worth it.

"...I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life..." - Deuteronomy 30:15-20
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." - Isaiah 30:21

What have we chosen and what are we still choosing (to think, to say, to do, to be after and to become) in our daily lives? (Pro. 16:25, John 14:6)
'We are free to choose but we are not free from the consequences of our choices.'
