The underlying heart condition is worth considering.
Generally there is nothing wrong with taking pictures as there are different reasons why people do so. Some take pictures to remember an event recently attended, some to share sweet memories with family and friends and to positively lift up the spirits and hearts of others(Proverbs 17:22) but some others with a wrong motive do so to incite jealousy(Galatians 5:26), to draw attention to themselves and achievements(Romans 12:3) and to show off their material possessions.

Selfie is basically taking a photo of yourself by yourself. Bros, stop being spirikoko. Spirikoko is not spirituality or holiness.

I used to be a photo buff long before GSM phones even came around, but by the time GSM with cameras came out, I had become the exact opposite of that.

It came to a point i wanted to burn all my photos because I wanted to live a life that was completely hinged on God and nothing else. So any such distractions were unwelcomed.

I was surprised though how somehow the pictures suddenly disappeared, as I had absolutely no idea what happened to them.

It was not until many years later that they resurfaced again, after water or moisture had seriously dealt with them, so they were brought out and kept under the sun to dry. It was then i discovered that it was actually my mum that hid them probably because she had heard of my plans at the time, so she had to hide them to prevent that fr happening. But she couldn't hide them anymore and told me to take them. But i didn't because i held no interest whatsoever in them, so she could continue to keep them if she still wanted to.

I'm still not a fan of photos, though i take them only where necessary.

When they refuse to eat nourishing spiritual food God produced through his real servants why won't Satan's agents feed them with all sort of gibberish?
Some time ago one of their hopeless, worthless and useless Pastors said "it's wrong for people to read God's word from tablets" please was it in pages that Moses and other inspired writers penned down those words or scrolls? Was those words separated in chapters and verses back then? Did God condemn people for advancing from scrolls to pages and making it chapters and verses for easier location?
That's exactly how makeups, jewelries, alcoholic beverages and so on became sin in the churches of Christendom!

Taking a selfie for personal use has no fault.when you take it to upload on social platform for worldly recommendations, then it becomes faulty

What part of the teachings of Jesus Christ convinces that the taking of(or not) has anything to do with anything?
Stop dragging the teachings of Jesus Christ down in the meaningless things of existence please.
