But there is enough room for Ananias and Sapphira, in otherwise words, the workers of iniquity, sex abusers and rapists etc., as you'd not expel them but try to conceal their atrocities as long as they do not rebel against the core beliefs of the organization, [/b]like "Jesus is not God but angel Michael" and "there is no Hell fire" among other Antichrist beliefs.

JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES’ SCRIPTURALLY BASED POSITION
ON CHILD PROTECTION

cpt-E 4/18
"Definitions: Child abuse may include neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, or emotional abuse.
Child sexual abuse is a perversion and generally includes one or more of the following: sexual inter-course with a child; oral or anal sex with a child; handling the genitals, breasts, or buttocks of a child; voyeurism of a child; indecent exposure to a child; or soliciting a child for sexual conduct. It may include sexting with a minor or showing por.nography to a minor
.
In this document, references to parents apply equally to legal guardians or other persons who hold parental responsibility for a minor.

1. Children are a sacred trust, “an inheritance from Jehovah.”—Psalm 127:3.
2. The protection of children is of utmost concern and importance to all Jehovah’s Witnesses.

This is in harmony with the long-standing and widely published Scripturally based position of Jehovah’s Witnesses, as reflected in the references at the end of this document, which are all published on jw.org.
3. Jehovah’s Witnesses abhor child abuse and view it as a crime. (Romans 12:9) We recognize
that the authorities are responsible for addressing such crimes. (Romans 13:1-4) The elders do not shield any perpetrator of child abuse from the authorities.
4. In all cases, victims and their parents have the right to report an accusation of child abuse to
the authorities. Therefore, victims, their parents, or anyone else who reports such an accusation to the elders are clearly informed by the elders that they have the right to report the matter to the authorities.
Elders do not criticize anyone who chooses to make such a report.—Galatians 6:5.

5. When elders learn of an accusation of child abuse, they immediately consult with the branch
office of Jehovah’s Witnesses to ensure compliance with child abuse reporting laws. (Romans 13:1)
Even if the elders have no legal duty to report an accusation to the authorities, the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses will instruct the elders to report the matter if a minor is still in danger of abuse or there is some other valid reason. Elders also ensure that the victim’s parents are informed of an accusation of child abuse. If the alleged abuser is one of the victim’s parents, the elders will inform the other parent
."

I challenge you, Jnr LIENUS, to show proof to this forum that your Churchpreneurs protect minors from child abuse

The highest I do is 6 to 12, for 3 days not that I can't keep more than that, at times when at work place I can stay full day without food or water but that day I fast, 1hour is like 10hrs to me , na so I hold clock waiting for 12oclock to knack so I can eat, anyway God answered my prayer and my dream and purpose of the fasting fulfilled...

It doesn't matter how long you fast what matters most the heart which you are fasting with... Only believe , plan it In your mind it will come to past cool
Of course the heart is also important, but also the length of time. The concept is to starve your flesh to feed your spirit, so the longer you do that, the bigger your spirit grows.

So try and commit more time to fasting. It would not kill you.

God bless.

I love how you denied yourself to do this, I want to try it
With God you surely can do all things and this is not just to motivate you but a practical Truth.

Just yield yourself completely to Him and believe me, you have no idea what He could use you to achieve.

Thanks and God bless.

Welcum:

I love the way you love God. I've also had similar experiences as you had. One lesson I learned from all these experiences is that we should emphasize prayer above fasting. It makes us progress faster in the spirit. For example, imagine getting your spirit filled with the consciousness of God that YOU FORGET TO EAT FOR EVEN 24 HOURS! It carries far more effect than putting yourself down to fast for 40 or 100 days.

YOU see, the scripture writers report that Jesus fasted for 40 days as they report that Moses was on the mountain for 40 days. This is not numerical 40 days because no one was there to count the days. Rather, what actually happened in these two cases was that Moses and Jesus were respectively so lost in the ocean of the Divine Presence that no one could track the actual number of days they spent in God's Presence.

Notice also that neither Jesus nor Moses decided to start a fast nor the number of days to spend. Moses was commanded by God to go up the mountain as Jesus was driven by the Spirit of God.

Above all, I'm encouraged by your story. Please, don't ever let the words of critics weigh you down. They only see the negative sides of everything without also seeing the positive sides to balance their view. I see you being used MIGHTILY of God as you surrender more fully to His Holy Spirit. Remain in the Christ. Even so, Amen. So be it.
Thanks a lot for sharing.

I'm quite surprised at your idea that one makes faster spiritual progress with prayer than fasting though, because in my own experience, it's been pretty much the opposite. For instance, even before this experience which took place over eighteen years ago, I was already praying for up to 3 hours or even longer per day for a while, yet it wasn't enough. But this fasting helped me achieve in a short time what prayer alone couldn't do for me.

And concerning your claim of no one being there to count the amount of days Jesus and Moses fasted, perhaps you forgot that those who fasted were there themselves to record the amount of days they fasted, and hence were actually the ones who revealed the details of their fasting including the fact that it took place for forty days. Deuteronomy 9:9,18.

You have a valid point though of being led by the Spirit of God and also being lost in His presence. The latter helps me especially when I'm praying or even fasting, as time moves faster.

Thanks and God bless.

Some elements of your story has truth but some seem somehow. In all your narration about your fasting expedition, you never once mentioned that you were praying for something, you appear to have just being there to see how you can live without eating or drinking for forty days as never once did you mention that you prayed. Even the topic of your post is somewhat misleading, the topic seem to say you saw something or probably had an encounter but, there was nothing. Finally, the way I see you boast about the things that have been happening in your life shows something is amiss. If you are a genuine Christian, I suggest you seek out a more experienced Christian for mentorship before you enter into error. There's nothing wrong to seek God to empower one to live the kind of life one read in the Bible about Jesus and the apostles(we are built upon their foundation, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone) but, it appears to me you want to use this medium to draw people to yourself and then start a ministry. You need to be careful, really very careful! I pray God leads you the right way you ought to follow in Jesus name
Sour grapes!

When I go through your post, all I see are unfounded and preconceived assumptions. For instance, your idea that the title of my post was misleading, because there's nothing there to suggest that. It's actually because of the spiritually shallow who couldn't comprehend the value of the fast that compelled me to add the part of the benefits I enjoy as a result, and you would have been able to realize that that if you viewed the post without sentiments.

Perhaps you should also educate me more on what benefit such mentorship has been to the church, since you think Jesus was not a good enough mentor, because if the results were anything to go by, the church was in much better shape before such man-made rules became the order of the day in the church to suggest that it would have been better off without it.

And lastly, what if I want to use this medium to start my own ministry, is there anything wrong with that? Perhaps you should instead tell us what's your grouse with that.

It's beyond obvious that your views were not spirit-led but driven by the flesh and personal sentiments, hence not worth being given any serious consideration.

I wish you well though regardless, and hope that at the end you, you'd also give God what He truly deserves.

God bless.

According to people like you, wealth is the only indicator or evidence of God's glory or His presence?

During the time of Christ and the apostles there were rich people, very rich people yet Christ didn't even have material wealth, the apostles too. The most valuable human asset is the soul and that's what should really concern us, not bother about some material wealth or riches. Money isn't every thing, infact it will aid your destruction even. 1 Tim 6:9.

jesusjnr2020:
Well... maybe not exactly a wilderness as those depicted in the Bible, but it was the closest I could get to that at the time. It was a large uninhabited and uncultivated area (bush) somewhere in the outskirts of Abuja, where I intended to get that final push I needed to begin to live the kind of life I dreamed for God.

It was the kind of life the prophets and apostles and even Christ lived on Earth in those days, where they were dead to the things of this world but fully alive to the things of the Spirit and the Kingdom of God.

I already had the orientation they had and was truly willing, but my flesh was weak hence i lacked the strength, might or power to follow it through. I kept looking out of the window and wondering when I would be able to do likewise and finally begin to live the life of my dreams, as what I saw all around me seemed completely opposed to the kind of life I dearly craved.

The present day church didn't even help matters much as it was a far cry from the kind I knew and desired to part of, even that which I had seen in the acts of the apostles where it was all about God.

I'd already made some sacrificial decisions and forsaken everything for the sake of the Kingdom of God even as the disciples had done, to prove how determined I was, so I was already on the right course, but it was just that final boost to completely escape the gravitational field of the flesh I was yet lacking.

After waiting and hoping for a while without making any significant progress, i decided to take a drastic step, and embark on a forty day and forty nights fast without food or water in a bushy area not very far from where I lived.

I think the inspiration behind this course of action, were the examples of those who were said to have observed such a fast in the Bible, combined with the wilderness experience, which appeared to be the final preparation point for some before the commencement of their ministries. For instance, John the baptist and even Master Jesus, who were said to have been in the wilderness fasting for a while before the commencement of their ministries. Hence I decided to also give it a shot.

My prayer then to God was "Use Me Or I Die!" So if I made it out alive, it would mean that I had achieved the purpose of going there, which was to begin to live the life of my dreams where it was all about God and nothing else.
