Meditate on this tonight:

John 14:16(amp)
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.


Brethren when the lord jesus ascended to heaven he didn't leave us alone, he gave us the comforter (the holy spirit)

The holy spirit is God in us, the holy spirit is authorized to reveal jesus to us, there is no man who has acknowledge jesus as lord without the help of the spirit.
The holy spirit reveal who jesus christ is to us, the holy spirit births conviction in the life of a believer

The holy spirit is called many names:
The comforter.
The helper.
The teacher.
The spirit of truth.
The spirit of God.
The holy ghost.

It is the will of the father for us to relate with the holy spirit, the holy spirit is real and can reveal himself to a believer. The holy spirit teaches us and give us the spirit of understanding.

Three ways to invite the holy spirit into your life;
1. prayer: when you pray the holy spirit comes(the bible teaches us how the holy spirit understand the mind of the father and comes and deposit the right word in our mouth when we pray in the spirit?

2. bible study: the bible was written by holy men who where inspired by the spirit of God, so the word of the bible will only be understood by the help of the holy spirit.

3. worship: in depth worship creates an atmosphere for the spirit of God to find expression and do marvellous things we have never imagined ( remember paul and silas? They prayed, they sang and the end result was the coming down of the holy ghost that set them free from bondage.

Enter into a relationship with the holy spirit, invite him to your life and let him reveal jesus to you, let him reveal the truth in the word of God for you. An encounter is all you need with the spirit of God and your life will never remain the same.


Prayer: lord jesus it's your will for us to enjoin the comforter you have given into us, lord jesus we pray tonight let your holy spirit find expression in us and through our life in Jesus name. Lord we pray for an encounter tonight, let there be mighty testimony of your love for us in Jesus name
