Imam Al-Nawawi’s Riyad-us-Saliheen Chapter 136 Greeting the Children 862. Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that he passed by some children and greeted them. Then he said: “Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to do the same.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. https://abdurrahman.org/2014/09/04/riyad-us-saliheen-imaam-nawawi-chapter-136/ So when next you pass by some children do greet them too! May the peace and blessings of Allah be on the Prophet, his family and companions and all those who follow the path of haneef till the day of Hisab. |
