Why GYB
History has proven over and again that you don’t request that power be handed over to you, you wrestle it out from its current holders. This being said, let us take a short mental trip to the political theatre of Kogi state pre GYB regime.

Kogi state’s political stage was completely dominated by the Igala tribe who so happened to be the majority though. For over a decade they called all the shorts politically and made sure no other tribe saw the light of day with regards to getting to the highest position in the state (governorship). Yes many will say GYB got there by luck, may be true, but then, I think he fought his way and the heavens blessed his fighting effort with beautiful success. You might think otherwise, that’s your opinion.

Today the political dynamics of the state has changed, and the one time owners of the state have been relegated to their zone. Winning the second term in office, was the game changer, it sent a strong message and set rolling a sequence that might never get altered in a long while. Now we know that it is possible for anybody to be governor post GYB. Now that is no little fit.

Coming to the national stage, I was and still is a staunch supporter of the PDP. Yeah, you heard me. I supported Goodluck, and Atikulated in 2019 but then, PMB kept his position. It might seem a rather radical shift in ideology to say I am all for GYB to PYB, but it is what it is. Now to my question “why GYB”
He has proven over and again his credentials when it comes to wrestling power from the entitled political class. And right now we need nothing but that to be replicated at the national level. You’ll be deluding yourself if you think for a second that the current crop of old politician will relinquish power simply because you ask them to. We need to wrestle them and drag power from them like we saw happen in Mali. I see no better person to lead this drive than a man who has done it before GYB. Is he the best around? I really don’t care, but one thing I know is once power get wrestled out, we can then start talking of getting more refined gentlemen to man the highest office in the land. But right now, GYB is the only man with the courage, and the backing of the heavens to tear down the political wall of Jerico, the older generation have built up for themselves.

Every right thinking youth should support this project and let’s get power out of the hands of this greedy old political pharaohs that have refused to let go of this office.
I SUPPORT GYB TO PYB

You need to upgrade your format boss.

This sounds so shallow. While saying you are supporting GYB you are still saying after he enters we would find more sophisticated peoplemto take over from him.

This is a codes way of saying he is not sophisticated.

Whenever you are contracted to sell someone like GYB you need to dig deeper. The key thing you can focus on packaging is his acceptability to different zones, then follow up with cooked up stories of developmental ideology.

Best of luck boss

Is Yaya Bello not a fulani? Another fulani to continue ruining the country from where his fulani comrade Buhari, stopped? Where is OBJ to write a letter on how fulanis should never be allowed to near Aso Rock anymore just as he wrote that the Ijaws should never be allowed to rule nigeria after GEJ?
