March 3, 2021, remains a memorable day in Offa a suburb city of Kwara State where the people of Offa and Erinle engaged themselves in a tug of war which led to the loss of life, people, and properties been burn to ashes in the crisis.

It is this while the Kwara state government declared a curfew which runs from 6.pm-8.am in the area in order to restrict the movement of people and prevent the further occurrence of the violence.

In his statement released by Rafiu Ajakaye the chief press to Kwara State Governor which reads:

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has imposed a curfew on Offa and Erinle towns.

The curfew will be in force between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. until further notice.

This follows the renewed hostilities between some groups of persons from the two communities on Thursday.
