After the National Education Policy was first introduced in July 2020, Himachal Pradesh became the first state in India to implement this policy in all the schools. Steadily, this policy will soon be implemented in the rest of the states of India.

The National Education Policy (NEP-2020) was proposed twice before this and has been implemented both times for its revolutionary changes in the Indian education system. The NEP-2020 also has some of the most awaited changes proposed for the education system.
