Giovanni Gigli says he would never have lured the five-time Ballon d’Or winner away from Real Madrid as he was always “too expensive”

Juventus should be looking to “free Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season”, says Giovanni Gigli, with the former Bianconeri president claiming that signing the Portuguese was an “expensive” mistake.

U are definitely a Ronaldo hater.... how can u call him a flop ?? He has been juves top scorer for the past 2 seasons including this season... if they don't win the CL with Ronaldo, then they hv themselves to blame...cos they dint take advantage...Ronaldo can't b forever young , juve had the chance to boost their squad when he was hitting it hard... only if they had quality to assist him in the past 2 season when he was the only one scoring in the knock out stages... his job is to score goals which he has been doing , defending the goals he scored is not his job... juve don't plan on how to replace their aging defence.... sandro has been very weak defensively and is always out jumped by opposing strikers ... cuadrado is not a natural RB ... they don't even have a good DM ... they only go for players that are free in the market... Dybala has totally lost form after recovering from the deadly covid virus.... ronaldo has scored about 88 goals in 105 appearances for juve and u call him a flop... if juve had the kind of formidable defence they were known for, they wud hv won the CL ...
