Someone should tell this minister to mind his business and stay away from telcos and the internet. If the banks charges us for using mobile banking,why would they not remit what belongs to the telcos to them. If there’s contract failure,they should be allowed to settle it in court. The minister is not court of law. Since he found his new muscle in the service provider, he wants to use corruption to spoil it.

My message to the Nigerian government: After identifying a problem, the best thing is to proffer a solution.

It's on this I say:


If the Nigerian government were proactive and smart enough it would have acquired some call tracking technological systems by now to track calls in the states mostly affected by kidnapping and banditry, so that the government can locate informants of the kidnappers/bandits and also know at least their hideout circumferences whenever they are demanding for ransom.

When more bandits emerge and kidnapping is rampant in many states, even the acquisition of the technology, its employment and its advantage will hardly be felt or yield expected results.


This is the right time to use the techs!
