"but the hour cometh and now is ,when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth,for the father seeketh such to worship him." john 4;23

worshipping God is very essential aspect of the human life.God expect us to worship him at all times and most importantly in truth and in spirit .to worship God must be done out of reverence for God and not for human beings .some people do worship God because human beings .
what i mean is they go to such because their spouse wouldn't be happy if they sit back in the house . others worship God because of relatives ;father, mother or a relative who compel them to do so .such people are not actually worshipping God, rather they are worshipping the people .
we have another category of people who go to church or pray because of material acquisition. such people will do evrything in the house of God right just to have what they actually need. when they get what they actually want , such as a spouse , a job or anything they were believing God for,you will nort see them in church again .
the next time you see them in church again praying and worshipping God , you can guess what brought them back to church;tjhere is one problem or the other and that is the reason they have come .

you see God weighs your heart and knows you motives when you come to the house of God , so just try to be faithful to the lord.because "God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth " john 4;24the focus of your worship must be God alone and nothing else when you go to the house of God to worship .

there is a later group of people who worship God well in the presence of their pastor , but when the pastor travels or not around , everything about their worship changes .such people may not show up for weekly activities or even sunday worship service in the absence of their pastor.

as soon as they hear that their pastor is in town , then they will come back i9n full swing . you see , such people are not worshipping God, rather they worship their pastor . the last group of people i know of,are those who only worship on sundays . such people appear very sanctimonious on sundays , because they believe it is the day of the lord.

they will behave so religiously , or dress in a religious attire and go to church .they sing so well and dance very attractively during the praise and worship session. however as soon the service is over and they go home their life-style is different , in fact they will not even pick their bibles to read or think of praying in the house ,they will not go for weekly activities . you need to make a conscious effort to worship God in spirit and in truth.
