Not All D Old Testament Laws Where Abolished As Many Of Us May Think, Rather It Was Amended Or Fullfilled Jesus By Jesus. According To Matt 5:17. Some Commandments Jesus Quoted Abt & Told Us To Keep Were 4rm D Old Testaments. E.g Thou Shall Fear D Lord Thy God, Thou Shall Love Thy Neighbour As Thyself E.tc. Just As We Make Amendment In Our Rules & Regulations In When It Seems Not To Be Good Or Favourable To Us. Read Heb7:18 |

Truvel:The Old Covenant Law was Never abolished! Stop spewing trash! This is a tale of God and two different Kingdoms here... 1. The Old Covenant (YHWH), the Law, belonging to those of the Kingdom of Canaan(Children of Israel), 2. and the New Covenant(Jesus Christ), the Law, belonging to the Kingdom of Heaven( Children of God). Both of them declared by God as eternal Kingdoms. Now Use your head, why should the Law belonging to the one Kingdom be cancelled the Law that belongs to another Kingdom? You folks need to pick up that book, remove those blinders your false prophets and teachers have received you with with in order that you may learn the very Truth of God that has been in your hand from when you were even babes. |

Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by budaatum: 3:40pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Kobojunkie: The evidence is in the fact that you would never inflict those Old Testament laws on anyone. You will for instance not stone your disobedient son to death. You will not put adulterers to death. And instead of an eye for an eye, you will turn the other cheek and forgive and forgive and forgive. But do let me know if I am wrong about you please. 1 Like |

budaatum:So, for evidence you offer a bogus claim born out of ignorance of the truth of what I believe? Again, this is a tale of 2 different Kingdoms. The sole reason why I do not teach the Old Covenant laws to any one of you here is that I don't myself belong to the Kingdom of Israel, and so I am not of their Law -the Old Covenant Law stands even to this day, unchanged. Instead, I belong in the Kingdom of Heaven and as a result, espouse the Laws of the Kingdom to which I belong. Nowhere in that can anyone then reasonably conclude that the Law, as pertains to the Kingdom of Israel, the other Kingdom, has been abolished or modified in any way by my action. |

Kobojunkie: Are you claiming the you that I offered as evidence of no more inflicting those sins with those Old Testament laws is "bogus claim born out of ignorance of you", and that you will stone your disobedient son and adulterers to death and will not forgive and forgive and forgive but take an eye for an eye? Have you, kobojunkie, not had these Old Testament laws abolished in yourself by the Jesus Christ you claim you obey who abolished them in you? |
Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by Kobojunkie: 3:59pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
budaatum:Don't simply respond, Think this one through! At what point in History, was Kobojunkie ever a descendant of Jacob(of the bloodline) or even a foreigner living in the land of Israel that Kobojunkie should have been under the Old Covenant Law, to begin with? Can a Law one has never been under be abolished in one? |
Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by budaatum: 3:59pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Are you sure about this, kobojunkie? Can you trust and obey Christ and still follow the Old Testament laws I have pointed out Christ abolished in you? Kobojunkie: |

Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by budaatum: 4:03pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Kobojunkie: You think! One might as well claim you don't need to obey Christ neither, since you are neither a Jew nor a Gentile, technically speaking, and only read the Gospels as you read the Old Testament. The fact is, Christ abolished those stupid ancient Old Testament laws, and thankfully, you do not practise them anymore! |

Kobojunkie: You really need to take your own advice before you dish it out. You'd be obeying Christ if you do. www.nairaland.com/attachments/12281441_20200902120356542_jpeg_jpeg5baca1bf133579f86edb6730bd7c5669 |

The Laws were buried and forgotten when Jesus died! Before Jesus' death every worshiper of God must continue looking at the Laws to readjust himself but after Jesus' sacrificial death, true worshipers of God don't need the laws anymore, all we need now is Jesus. Romans 10:4 Just continue meditating on the thoughts words and actions of Jesus, strive to readjust your thinking, follow Jesus' footsteps closely and you will be given the crown of life you are going to live forever! John 3:16 |

Truvel:Did you bother reading before responding? Your friend made the following claim of the Old Covenant. budaatum:Where is the evidence for the above claim found in the Old Testament? |
Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by Kobojunkie: 5:16pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Truvel:Where are the amendments documented in the Old Testament, and which of the 613 laws were amended? Jesus Christ's fulfillment of the Old Covenant laws was done so that those of the Old Covenant(the Children of Israel) who would choose to follow Him would have their obligation to the Old Covenant taken care of by His acts of Obedience. That He fulfilled the Old Covenant Laws on behalf of them has nothing to do with the Gentiles who were never under it to begin with. |

Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by Kobojunkie: 5:22pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
budaatum:You are still not using your head, are you? The links you provided are to the Old Covenant laws themselves. The Law of Moses/Old Covenant is documented in the 5 books of Moses(Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). In Deuteronomy 30, the Law(all 613 commandments in total), in its entirety was then ratified in Deuteronomy 30. Now, you claim that some of the laws were amended and I ask you again, where is your evidence of the claimed amendments to the particular laws you continue to claim. Where in the Bible are the amendments documented? |
Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by budaatum: 5:26pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Kobojunkie: So, you have not read the Gospel to learn how Jesus amended those laws, or is it that you do not understand that Jesus amended them? Then I strongly suggest you go read the Gospels instead of making a fool of yourself by asking me to point out to you what you repeatedly claim you trust and obey! |

Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by Kobojunkie: 5:35pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
Truvel:And finally, the root of the problem is revealed.... Again, Kobojunkie: In addition, when you accuse Jesus Christ of modifying the Law that God gave to His people through Moses, you accused Jesus Christ of not only lying or disobeying the Old Covenant laws. One important law is that you not remove or add to the Law as stipulated by God. Also, the same Jesus Christ told you that that Heaven and Earth will pass away but not even a smidge of the Old Covenant will pass away. So why do you continue to declare to know what you obviously remain clueless of? |
Re: Not All D Old Testament Laws Were Abolished. by Kobojunkie: 5:37pm On Mar 15, 2021 |
budaatum:I am afraid your problems aren't just the Gospels... you have never actually read the book called the Bible itself to gain an understanding of the Truth of God ? |

budaatum:The book is written in human language for all those with basic language comprehension skills who read it to fully grasp. You claim to have read the book but so far your level of comprehesnsion of the story contained in the book is on the same level as that of those you pretend you are better than. what does that tell you of your claims? |
