Jesus Christ's fulfillment of the Old Covenant laws was done so that those of the Old Covenant(the Children of Israel) who would choose to follow Him would have their obligation to the Old Covenant taken care of by His acts of Obedience. That He fulfilled the Old Covenant Laws on behalf of them has nothing to do with the Gentiles who were never under it to begin with.

One important law is that you not remove or add to the Law as stipulated by God.
