These female guards are often the only women they can get in there. And many of these men aren't violent freaks. There's a lot of dope boys doing a long sentence, drug mules, political leaders, addicts, and others who are just normal people who made as little as one bad decision. Some just had bad lawyers or are only in there flat out because of racism or corruption.

This isn't okay, but neither is putting men in a situation where they may do unhealthy things and spread disease. In more progressive countries they give them conjugal visits. Prison is supposed to rehabilitate/correct, not make them worse.

You're right. In recent news, it's said that they were married before he became a convict. There are even wedding pictures of theirs to back up that claim. And I read the suicide news too. If truly they're married, I don't think she should have even thought of committing suicide, if of course that news is true.
