Firstly this not an absolute, but I think a very practical approach by which we can together forge a better country, bkos the crisis rocking the country now is an EXISTENTIAL THREAT. Let's dig in:

WHY IS NIGERIA IN SO MUCH POVERTY AND UNDERDEVELOPMENT?

1. The political process that births leadership in the country is never in the best interest of the citizens:

being a student of history have thought me that the amalgamation of Nigeria by the Niger company (now Unilever) was for business purposes only, to this effect, that conglomerate have ensured that every leadership helps to grease the wills of these companies and ensure they thrive - right from the 1960s till date, the Nigerian political process have always been influenced externally.

Now looking inwards, those selected to become the leaders of Nigeria, at party levels, he who has the money rules the day, and secures party ballots, will he serve the interest of Nigerians, the party cares less, so this process of "money for hand back for ground" has been the bane of our political leadership.

2. We have very weak institutions where corruption, nepotism, bigotry thrives at unprecedented levels

By institutions I mean the police, EFCC, federal ministries, the Judiciary, legislation etc, do not and never lives by the principles of the federal Constitution and a thorough obedience to the rule of law, that those found wanting should face the music. Instead these institutions favour party politics, friendship, ambition and personal interest over national interest and the general well being of the federation.

By these grotesque actions, injustice has thrived, poverty have reigned supreme, unemployment on the rise, insecurity, banditry and what have you not.

3. Supernatural influences: you see votes are first never won by PVC but via supernatural helps first, then PVC follows who has covenant well either with the force of good or evil, the problem is most people come into power with the force of evil.

By that action the force of evil will take it's pound of flesh in the said office or position, this may mean the person will secure that spot but development will not take place, that's bkos you don't get it all good from evil.

That's why a man can trade his manhood for money, or become barren for a political position. Bkos they've taken that posture, the influence that comes with that supernatural help, also projects evil in the land.

you will be bereaved of understanding if all you think these people bring to the table is just political strategy and human wisdom, most are helped by evil forces, hence the precarious situation we have found ourselves bkos good people who should project good are only talkers and not doers.

WHAT IS THE WAY OUT - MY BOLD SOLUTION

We as a country have not included a strategy and execution of success for every Nigerian, bkos when people cannot eat, get a job or access opportunities, they swell to point where they cannot be ignored - this is evident in the ENDSARS protest.

There are four (4) area's in my opinion that governs the extent a country can progress, manage success and lead in the global community, they are in the following order;

1. Energy security

2. Education

3. Economic security

4. Defense security

1. Energy security - no country will ever develop if it's citizens cannot boost of having electricity and fuel to aid transportation (this brings in capital projects like good roads), this first step to having a very functional country. There must first be energy to drive growth and transport people from one place to the other.

This remains the heart of industrialization which is the bedrock of any developed country. We must as as matter of necessity produce nothing less than 60% of what we consume as a country. What drives productivity is energy, and if it is lacking the people will not be productive. So much to talk here but let me pause here.

2. Education - the quality of the citizenry of a country is a product of education, this aids creativity, research, development and the quality of life of the people.

It helps to shape beliefs, perspective and mindsets.

This could be in a religious setting, academia or informal learning.

So the government must invest strategically in ensuring the citizens learn at a pace that promotes national cohesion and the country can compete globally. what educational structure is being used, is it effective, will promote national peace, creativity and productivity?

3. Economic security - the government must ensure that opportunities are available for creative and progressive thinkers to emerge so that they build businesses and invent witty products.

As far as the business space is continually strangled job opportunities will go down bkos the government is never in the place to employ the majority of workforce in the country, that's a faulty template, it should create rooms for businesses to spring up and remain sustainable, this businesses in return retains the teaming labour force.

4. Defense security - national growth that does not have the needed security to secure intellectual property, lives of the people, infrastructures and the boarders of the country be it cyber, land, air, sea or space will greatly reduced the country to rubles from Intruders.

This why it is imperative for a country to promote domestic defense capabilities and products that can defend itself against the most fierce enemy or even alies, bkos today's alies can become tomorrow's enemies, why? Almost every country promotes national interest above regional interest.

Ronald Reagan pointificates this succinctly "American only does what is in her best interest"

WAY FORWARD

I THINK a force of good people who mean well for the country, must come together with a NATIONAL VISION and MISSION that is pragmatic In approach and executable to influence national behaviour (the thinking patterns of most Nigerians) that will aid national development and interest above personal ambition and interest.

The need to see Nigeria succeed is greater than tribal or religious affiliations.

When this group of people meet, let them form a political party with the force of good behind them, sell this vision to Nigerians as a fight that can be won with their participation. Ensure they have a solid politicking strategy that can defeat the major opposition, usher them into the presidency, have a good number of legislature and judiciary fellow behind them to earn those major seats that can change the course of Nation in the right direction bkos the political will to drive positive change is there, this is the first stage.

The second stage deals with diligent execution that will promote stronger institutions that will be accountable first to the rule of law and secondly to the people, so that infrastructural development takes an unprecedented pace, and people can see the evidence of good governance.

This is my little piece:

What are your thoughts?

To the first question you raised and answered with 3 major points, these is my take.

1. The formation of Nigeria like those of almost every country, South Africa, China, Canada etc were all faulty. You can read up the formation of those countries but one thing stands out, they forged ahead. Tomorrow is ALWAYS GREATER than today or the past because it HOLDS THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION, and that is why South Africa, China, Canada etc are great while Nigeria is not, because rather than learn from history and move one, we choose to build a mansion and live there in the past.

2. We have weak institutions because we allow ourselves as a people to be divided by nepotism, corruption ( which I agree with you on) and greed by the political class and by individuals. We all treat this country like OUR PERSONAL MILKING MACHINE, to press out every sip of milk from it before it runs dry instead of treating it as our HOME, to build and protect.

The other points seem okay .

This one wants to use the rather intelligent method to arouse a sense of one Nigeria in the heart of Southerners, then used whip on them as their colony later on. I already saw through your motive.

The only song that any true southerner should be singing right now is the song disintegration. This is the only true solution to the Nigeria woes, which have a fulani multiplier effect.
