I actually did exactly the same thing for my S20 when I bought them (one for myself and one for my wife). They are still perfectly okay 8 months later.
But you won't enjoy the phone for like 20 minutes cuz it will keep flashing warning that there's moisture on the charging port.
I actually put it under water and wsd pressing it under. Lol I'm crazy like that
