Why Do Many Yorubas Like Dragging Nigeria Backward Politically? by Welcum: 10:48am On Mar 28, 2021 |
I don't mean to be tribalistic. I mean to be realistic. The mods may choose to ban me. But, take note of this: UNTIL WE THROW AWAY POLITICAL CORRECTNESS (ANOTHER WORD FOR 'HYPICRISY') AND ASK OURSELVES CERTAIN SALIENT QUESTIONS - AND ALSO ANSWER THEM - WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE SLAVES WITH OUR CHILDREN FOR EVER. That said, I am only asking a question. I can't understand why the majority of a tribe of intelligent people like the Yorubas often choose to take wrong political steps that are certain to affect their children and generations for years or even centuries to come. So, why do they do that? I strongly suspect it's in a bid to spite Igbos. But why should such intelligent people choose to cut their noses just to spite their faces? I know you are still wondering what I mean. So, let me go concrete: Unless we all accept that we are all only as good as beasts of burden, THE CURRENT SITUATION WHERE FULANI HERDERS ARE SACKING PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES IN SW SHOULD HAVE BEEN FORSEEN IN 2015 WHILE BUHARI WAS GETTING ELECTED AS NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT. To be fair, Buhari didn't deceive Nigerians. Instead, he had been letting us know what he had in mind (like when he said they'd never rest until Sharia was implemented ALL OVER THE NATION). So, we knew the person we were electing unless we choose to lie to ourselves. This is why I have zero regard for those who are quick to say, "WE REGRET TO ELECT BUHARI". Very stupid medicine after death! If at YOUR age, you can't forsee clear problems ahead and avoid it, then, you surely need to be consigned to the Zoo (I mean a REAL zoo, not Kanu's metaphor). AND, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ERR, REPENT, AND THEN ERR ON THE SAME SPOT WHILE WE ARE STILL SUFFERING FROM THE PREVIOUS ERROR!?! We have great leaders in the North, SW, SE, SS, and everywhere in Nigeria, but why are we always pushing publicly known dysfunctional individuals like Buhari, Tinubu, Orji-Uzor Kalu, etc to positions of leadership? Why? And, why are most people at the forefront of doing this always Yorubas?. We've seen how Tinubu colonized the whole of Lagos. He influenced senate elections to favor his wife as if it's only his family members that deserve it. His family takes billions of Naira home from Lagos markets. He publicly and MOST ILLEGALLY laundered money on the eve of a presidential election for vote buying. He is primarily responsible for bringing in Buhari that we're suffering from now. No wonder he looks the other way while the President's henchmen are killing, raping, kidnapping, sacking South-Westerners from their homes while destroying their source of livelihood. YET, PEOPLE ARE PUSHING FOR A TINUBU PRESIDENCY WITH SUCH A VIGOR AT THE SAME TIME! Are these people under a curse or what?!? So, what are the qualities of a good leader in Tinubu that's making real humans push for him to become Nigeria's President? Is it selflessness? Is it good sense of judgement? Is it compassion towards the plight of his people? What? Mind you, I am asking a question. LOOK, IGBOS DON'T HATE YORUBAS AS MUCH AS I SEE MANY YORUBAS HATE THEMSELVES - SEE PROOFS Igbos supported Obasanjo to be President; didn't they? The so-called Igbo coup of January 1966 was aimed at installing Obafemi Awolowo as Nigeria's President. Next, let APC nominate a person like Prof. Osinbajo as their presidential flag bearer in 2023 and see if Igbos wouldn't support his candidacy in great numbers. So, where are those that would choose death instead of life just to spite Igbos? 8 Likes |

majamajic:The OPEN-EYED mistake of 2015 you mean? As avoidable as that mistake was, one can forgive those who made it. What we cannot forgive is the same people trying to take us in the same direction while we are still suffering from their previous mistake. |

Yoruba matters go kill some people ooh, their people are busy killing themselves in their erosion ravaged land but all they know is to cry on anything yoruba like as if yorubas give a damn about them. Yorubas do things how they like without giving a damn about any inconsequential, 5% and ipididiots people 8 Likes |

Stupid hypocritical talk and analysis. Most flatin0s think that everyone's a low IQ cretin like them with dementia forgetful of history and the realities of nigerian politics. OP is probably from abia state condemning leaders in Lagos. Typical flatin0, doesn't take responsibility for his actions but puts the blame on others. Fvckin chimps 6 Likes |

An Igbo man led by the name of Daniel Kanu led the movement of 2million march for abacha and the Youth Earnestly Ask for Abacha (YEAA) initiative, igbos largely supported tofa against abiola, Nnamdi Azikiwe discarded a chance at being the prime minister under a partnership with awolowo and instead partnered with the north believing that he could easily manipulate the northerners....las las it always backfires on the flatin0s, OP the joke is on you, this trash can only float on TwitterNG were most people are politically retarded, not here. 5 Likes |

OjukuwuHusband: Most of them don't even know what they are saying, they want to whip everyone into their line of thinking. They want to live, but at the expense of others, unfortunately for them, they met their match in not just the Yorubas, but everyone in this country. They have problem with anyone they can't subdue, this was how they end up having problems with everybody in Nigeria. 5 Likes |

I'm not Yoruba ,North or Igbo, but I think some of the Yorubas doesn't know what they are doing. Look how they almost sold Sunday out to the north. Someone who tried to saved them from Falani killings. Then they keep praising Tinubu who is killing them, politically and otherwise. I like the north for one thing. Unity. Even if they know their own is bad, they won't sell him out. Igbos keep making noise up and down. When the ESN came ,I thought they will help to make the splitting of the scam Nigeria happen faster. Right now,I no even dey hear from them again. This Nigeria just tire me.. Useless leaders making things hard for citizens and some mad citizens supporting then, even at the point of their death caused by hardship. 1 Like |

Re: Why Do Many Yorubas Like Dragging Nigeria Backward Politically? by Welcum: 11:34am On Mar 28, 2021 |
BigYash:Wait and see how they will call you flatin0s. My own fear about ESN is that they will eventually turn against those they claim to be defending. As for hearing about them, what do you want to hear? Haven't you been hearing about 'unknown gun men' gunning police and soldiers down in SE? |
Re: Why Do Many Yorubas Like Dragging Nigeria Backward Politically? by Welcum: 11:39am On Mar 28, 2021 |
majamajic:And the person who made that blunder and still defending it is now being pushed to replace his own blunder? Why can't we see that it's going to be blunder raise to power 10. Meanwhile, get ready to be tagged a flatin0s for daring to say that a God made a blunder. And, we shouldn't be talking about Buhari and Tinubu as if any agreement they have made is important to over 200 million people. |

Welcum:Unknown gun men. We are not sure they are the gun men. Nigerians dey vex for police normally ,so anybody they probably killed his or her loved one, could decide to revenge. So until these guys ESN come out to say they are responsible for the killings. I never dey sure say na them.. |

10mobile: For most of you Igbos the word "Truth" is defined based on your distorted reality..so it's easy to identify a flatin0 when you hear one...one thing you should get into your thick skull and that of your brothers is that the Yoruba owes no fvckin person an explanation on how he plays his politics. The gaslighting, victim weaponization, history revisions and propaganda won't hold sway. Try to focus more on your region and hold your political leaders accountable.....you guys are always masturbating on yoruba issues and it's really disgusting because the average yoruba man doesn't give a flying fvk about you guys whether you're dying or living, 0 fvcks given, sunday Igboho has been agitating for the Yoruba's and the oduduwa republic have you ever heard him mention the igbos, associate or talk about your leaders, but your Nnamdi Cownu can't make a single speech without mentioning the Yoruba's or trying to always leech off to any trend, Yoruba media, tinubu, Afonja, Awolowo are are the cause of Ndigbo's problems but not Ndigbo leaders themselves....you guys should fvckin grow some balls and take responsibility for your regional issues and mind your fvckin business.....break the generational victimhood of your parents and stop bvllshittin 6 Likes 1 Share |
