The greatest fear of the Fulani's oligarchy is for the Hausa to raise up against their rulership over them one day ! That however seems very unlikely as the Hausa have subjected themselves eternally to the authority of their conquerors, the fulanis.

Hausa's gullibility actually laid foundation for all the atrocities being brazenly committed by the fulanis in Nigeria today. It's really heartbroken to see one of the African finest tribes,Hausa being treated as second fiddles, slaves and conquered subjects on their ancestral land. They have been scammed, brainwashed, diabolically hypnotised !

Hausas need our prayers to be free from the shackles of slavery that the desert wanderers from futa jallon have dubiously put them !

Another interesting reason why typical hausa man cannot marry a fulani woman is because of a ritual called SAURO. it is a festival that catapult a Fulani male into manhood. It involves severe life threatening beating and flogging. The hausas detest this beating. The fear of SAURO is d primary reason why the hausas cannot proposed to a Fulani woman.
I was told that the Fulanis use Tira (Islamic talisman) to survive the beating..
From villages to the city, the proportion of hausa population to that of Fulanis is 1 to ratio +/_ 250,000.
The Hausas love to be addressed as Dan-Fulani (son of Fulanis). It is a thing of pride for them. It symbolizes greatness to them.
Another amazing thing is how the poorest of the poor hausa take the holy pilgrimage to mecca a priority. They would save all their labour's wages all in attempt to visit the holy land.
The hausas are doomed. I know so many peasants and piece meal workers that saved successfully for hadji.
They live in penury and abject poverty and preffered to remain there than to compromise hadji.
Saudi Arabia is their mecca.
They will tell you ba turansi but they are ready to continue conversation in Arabic.
Almost 85% of hausas speak Arabic.
Despite the shortcomings of the hausas, they will always do a small wedding fatia before they put another man's daughter in their harem ( Ba shiga) is written boldly on the door of every harem.
The harem is purely built with red earth mud .Not a brick.
This is in comparison to the people of the south where a Casanova will just impregnate many daughters of eve without knowing their parents.

Sex is the 2nd most important thing to a typical Hausa man. They can use their last kobo to buy aphrodisiacs. A woman can divorced easily for being deprived of sex.
The male hausas are uncircumcised. They are well endowed in azzakari. I mean an extra length penis is a natural gift for them.
The Fulanis are the greatest master of hypnotism. They irreversibly hypnotised the hausas with religion of peace and hypnotise the whole Nigerians with cow meat.
The average Fulanis does not consume cow meat, rather chicken and fish is their favorite.
Fulanis and hausas that live in the city can drink alcohol 10 times better than the average southerners that always boast of being a good drinker.
They love star and guiness larger more than water. Albeit not all of them.
Things are changing gradually in this age of face book. Many of their females now dress to kill.
They will leave home with hijab , once they get to Sabo n gari, they will change into western skimpy dresses, they would drink and party as if tomorrow is never going to come.
Things are happening in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Another interesting thing is the manipulation of Nigeria population.
In the hx of mankind and the world, only in Nigeria is the semi desert and arid Sudan and sahel savanna more populous than the coasta south.
This aberration is not seen elsewhere in the whole world.
What I saw, the South is 2.5 times more populous than all the North put together. However , they have a large land mass.
There are so many Hausa graduates that roam the streets of Kano but never had I come across a single Fulani graduate that is jobless. I stand to be corrected.
Sharo or flogging ritual is only done by some fulani community ( In Kwara state we call them Bororo Fulani). You will never see the City Fulani man go through Sharo. Yes the Hausa loves sex! One can safely say that 90% of all aphrodisiac sold in Nigeria is consumed by them. They also have soft spot for beautiful and educated ladies. They will sell their goods to such and collect no money.LOL!
The problem is their docile state especially when it comes to the Emir: his word is law!

The Hausa has the population to take their destiny back through the ballot box anyday they choose BUT I doubt if they even have any thought for their emancipation from the Fulani. Religion has blinded them completely

Too bad!

You are all blinded by hate! Firstly, hundreds of Fulani towns like Daura has been existing for centuries before most Hausa states. Secondly, for the Igbos and yorubas who are bitter for being in the shadows of Fulanis, you all started equally with the Fulani man. Zik and Awo with the feeling that they were too educated and exposed started the move for independence, and instead of banding together for the common vision, began to clash with each other, using juju and all sorts of stupid strategy to out do each other, until the stupid igbo man named Zik merged his NCNC party with the NPC and handed power to the Fulani on a platter of gold! A move that cost the Igbos Nigeria forever. Thirdly, the Fulani man is not your problem, you all have governors, senators, rep members, assembly members, LGA chairmen and councelors, blame them. In the 50s, and 60s, Igbos and Yorubas were dominating every sector of the country, what happened? In fact,An award should be given to the Fulanis for using COMMON SENSE to conquer!
This post is not about other tribes, it is about the Healthy Relationship between the Hauysa and the Fulani. The question you should answer is: How come there are very few Hausa people in government?
If you are Fulani, your Taqqiyya has been exposed.
However,
If you are Hausa, this is a proof that you have been under the Taqqiyya of the Fulani

hausas are manure to sustain fulanis.
Just think of it,the fulanis educate their children, fulani kids don't do almajiri but HAUSA kids must do almajiri.
So that hausa man will forever be under fulaniman.
The fulanis are emirs(political and cultural imperialism)
The fulanis are imams and sultan(religious imperialism)
The fulanis are in control of the lands (economic imperialism)
Hausas can still redeem themselves even though it will be difficult.
I believe that the Hausa people can free themselves but ONLY if they realize the deception Taqqiyya they've been under. Because of their population, if they unite, they can earn their freedom.

Counting from the inception of Nigeria till date, if the number of Hausa people in government are so far inbetween, it simply means that they have been decieved by the Hausa-Fulani union. It is a parasitic relationship.

The post is about waking the Hausa man up from his deep hypnosis!

The picture painted by the Northerners is not what is on ground in the Northern part of Zoogeria.
For instance, the Hausas and the Fulanis live separately.
There is always a partition between the Hausa's and Fulanis's settlement.
The general language is Hausa. 90% of Hausa people cannot speak Fulfude.
98% of Fulanis can speak Hausa language.
Islam brought them together.
Almost all the village heads or chiefs are Fulanis
The Hausas are farmers while the Fulanis are herders. There is a strong mutual respect .
Most of the gangsters are hausas.
The Fulanis do not do almajiris
The Fulani women are the sellers of fura de nunu which the majority hausas enjoy the most.
They do have Farmers-herders clashes but not at the magnitude that is being perpetrated in Southern part of Zoogeria.
The Fulanis tame the hausas completely the same way they have been taming Nigeria.
The Fulanis like to live in secluded area while the hausas prefer the open settlement.
The dream of every educated Fulanis is to be in position of power.
They believe in the popular born to rule agenda of their progenitors from guinea's Futajalon.
It is difficult to observe the wide gap between the hausas and Fulanis in the city.
However, if you are lucky to visit the villages in Kano, you will see it all.
I have been to most of the glorified villages called local government in Kano.
From Karaye, gwarzo, rano, dela, taraoni, bebeji, bichi, kura, tofa, Garun mallam, kwankwaso, gezewa, rogo, dawakin kudu, dawakin tofa
I can beat my chest that I had been opportuned to travel all the LGs in Kano.
It is the real scam of the republic.
Every 10 to 15 villages is a local government.
Most of the rich fabric sellers in Kantin Kwari Market are Fulanis from Niger and Chad. They are the progenitors of Major Buhari.
The question, I never got an answer for in my years of sojourning in Nigeria. Why would a Christian nation (Britain) that brought Christianity to the people of Southern Nigerian sold the people that accepted Christianity into slavery by handing over the governance of Nigeria to the Fulanis jihadist from Futajalon?
The repercussions are what our generation is suffering today.
Every government apparatus in Nigeria has been Fulanilised.
NLNG in Bonny Island belongs to the Fulanis.
NNPC is their cash cow and footstool.
NPA is their cashcowh
Nig Army , NN, NAF belong to them
Nigeria customs is theirs
Nig immigration is no going area for the Southerners.
They head all the intern. Airports
They have taken over all the Ministries.
All agencies and parastatals are headed by the Fulanis.
Now, they insist that the Southerners must not farm again.
No one is sure of tmao, dz Fulani empire will surely crumble.

Is it too late for the Hausa people to take back their kingdom from the Fulani?
How did this totoal take over go on un-noticed for so long a time.
I know that the City Fulani are highly educated, I dont know of the Hausa people. Was the game plan to keep them ignorant?

I have always believed in the so-called Hausa-Fulani ethnicity until Buhari took over and the nepotism became very obvious. How are we sure its not the same strategy they are trying to use on Nigeria as a whole. The city Fulani in my opinion is extremely selfish and is only driven by power and wealth. I noticed that most of the cattle herders are uneducated and that most of their cows actually dont belong to them but to some powerful Fulani men who lives in the city.

For the Fulani Empire in Nigeria to crumble, the Hausa people must first wake up. They have been completely silenced. People from Futajalon with no land and no kingdom came to them, gave them the quran and took over their leadership. The same is happening in Ilorin.

The greed of the British empire actually solidified the grasp of the Fulani over Nigeria. The British taught that they can easly rule Nigeria by ruling the sultan of sokoto (ant that would have been true) except that Nigeria is a little volatile for such. Until the Crude Oil dries up, the Fulani will not leave Nigeria alone. Imagine Buhari extending a railway from Nigeria to Niger republic: for what sinister purpose!?
This is not peculiar to the Hausas.
The white men did same to entire sub Sahara African.
In the words of Desmond Tutu "when the white man came to Africa, they asked us to pray, we knelt down and closed our eyes, before we open our eyes, they took our land and gave us the Bible in return "

Most people who are products of intertribal marriages in major towns and cities in the North prefer to be called Hausa than Fulani. You can't just come from one bigotic conference without taking any data and start spitting nonsense in public domain.

I have to disagree with you here. There where a lot of strides in medicine and science in that part of the world in the 8th to about 13th centuries. Calculus originated from that region. In fact western scholars used to go there to study medicine. They were the first to use anaesthetics. The first encyclopedia on medicine came from there. The Christian crusades destroyed a lot of that followed by a more fundamentalist form of Islam sweeping across the region which stagnated things.

It is unfortunate that you never knew that the Atlantic corner is responsible for your education and the allocations which your state government receives monthly.
The Atlantic people generate 99% of Nigerian revenue. The ARID people as you would like to be addressed consume 70% of the revenue.
For the record, you have no gut to abuse anyone from the South. It was the privilege of amalgamation that you are enjoying.
Your intellect would probably have perish in the corner of Sahara desert.

Go and know more abt Nigeria and shun all these poor education they gave u. How can u believe everything by rendering ur brain idle.

The FG civil servants from Kano, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, & zamfara combined (5114) are not upto those from IMO state alone (5825). All these alleged nepotism or lopsided employment is either a ranting out of ignorance or an outburst that will soon reveal the true case of marginalised Nigerians because more northeners are employed now to balance & check the Federal character system which is one of the core function of the Commission. All those accusing North of depending on govt to earn survive need to wake up & access authentic data not concocted data means to tarnish PMB's image in the south with no authentic data to back their claims. Why are southern media report only appointments involving Northerners? I have completed list of PMB's MDAs appointments from 2015-2020 which clearly evident that South have taken lion share compared to North. I also have the data containing the statistics of political appointments of PMB also proven Southern Nigeria taking wide margin compared to North. Unfortunately, most educated Nigerians only learn the true nature of political game they're drawn into after govt has finished it tenure, that's when they'll know they're fooled by political tricks.
The Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Joe Abah, on Friday, disclosed that no fewer than 89, 511 civil servants are in the Federal Government’s employ, across States of the Federation.
89, 511 civil servants in FG’s employ by Nov 2015 – DG BPSR
Abah, in a series of tweets via his Twitter handle, @DrJoeAbah said that as at November 2015, States that topped the chat with most civil servants in the Federal Civil Service are Imo (5825), Kogi (5186), Ogun (4669) Delta (4419) and Akwa-Ibom (4416).
In percentage, Imo State makes up ( 7 %), Kogi (6 %), Ogun (5% ), Delta (5%) and Akwa Ibom (5%).
According to Abah, the Federal Civil Servants by State of Origin read thus:
1. Abia-3579

2. Adamawa-1727

3. Akwa Ibom- 4416

4. Anambra -3576

5. Bauchi -1172

6. Bayelsa -957

7. Benue -3951

I agree with you. The question really is relative to the Fulani people, how many Hausa people are in government.?

Whats your problem? Why are you reasoning like the igbos or are you igbo? You said to mention one person from niger delta in this administration and i named a few. And you are speaking english. Where was your learned awo and zik when the backward fulanis where schemeing to take over? My friend hide your face in shame!
You are responding to a wrong post o!
I have no iota of qualms against the Niger-Delta people of Nigeria. My issue is with the docile Hausa who have been used as an instrument of political imposition of nepotistic people over Nigeria.

It's very unfortunate how someone from the corner of Atlantic ocean can just pick any shit or conspiracy feed into his head without having second thought. Hausa-Fulani are inseparable group of ppl with only few pure Fulani herding in the bush with pure Hausa going into extinction. Hausa people are the ones who always marry Fulani because of the beautiful look of Fulani. The conspiracy that can never work in Nigeria is asking Hausa to rise against Fulani, the question I would like to ask u & the OP is, are we in a war? what is the point of all these dastard acts?
Almost all those Fulani mentioned in this thread are products of intertribal marriages between the two tribes except those from North-East and North-Central but u hardly can single out pure Fulani from North-West zone. He even mentioned Yaradua who is from Tuareg tribe (pure Tuareg from both parents)
I challenge u to give me a single Hausa Politicians who isn't into intertribal marriage with Fulani!
Wikipedia are doing serious mistake abt the ethnic identity of Northerners, I came across it many times.
Most people who are products of intertribal marriages in major towns and cities in the North prefer to be called Hausa than Fulani. You can't just come from one bigotic conference without taking any data and start spitting nonsense in public domain.
Go and learn more about the phenotypic characters of Hausa and Fulani, come down to North, look at the facial expressions of the people and make a conclusion. All comments I observed above yours is an insult to education because decision are not made on propaganda but based on real data sampling collected purposely for a certain reason.
I'm example to your delusional assertion; my father is Fulani, my mum is Kanuri and Hausa is the only native language I understand and I'm absolutely comfortable with it.
You need to know North from close than in the far and it's better to find different divisive tactic because this one will never work.
You are Fulani and so, this is the exact narrative that the Fulani would want the Hausa to believe that they are an inseparable bunch.
Unfortunately this is Taqqiyya!

The nation or Tribe of origin of people in Africa is Partrichal: meaning that the tribe of the children is the tribe of their Father. Muritala Muhammeds children are of which tribe Fulani or Yoruba?

We have been able to list several Fulani people in politics and government, where are the Hausa people?
Is Fulfude the same as Hausa? Even Buhari's children claim that they speak better Hausa than Fulfude (almost all Fulani people speak Hausa excellently).

98% of Fulani people in Nigeria understand and speak the hausa language but how many Hausa people understand Fulfude?
Yes, Fulani men marry Hausa women but the reverse is not as common: fulani women are not as much who have married Hausa men.
Lets go down to Ilorin in Kwara state: Many of them claim to be Fulani even though they cannot speak any other language other than Yoruba. Their allegiance is to Sokoto and not Oyo. Would you describe the Fulani-Yoruba relationship as inseparable?

Using Partrichal genealogy, and Let's assume that I am wrong, can you list in this Buhari Government 10 prominent Hausa people in politics and government?

BTW, I have lived in Zaria, Bauchi, Ilorin, Azare for a long time enough to know the difference between Hausa and Fulani.

The truth is bitter, but the Fulani have used TAQIYYA on the Hausa: if this is not the case, from Nigerian independence till today, we should be able to write at least 20 prominent Hausa people in politics and Government of Nigeria.

If you still assume that I am wrong, can you list 20 prominent Hausa people in politics and government since the inception of Nigeria?

If you can answer these two questions (in bold), then this thread is closed as I will tender and unreserved apology to you and every Fulani people on Nairaland.

Thank you.

(I can understand if you are not in anyway in politics of your people)

This is not peculiar to the Hausas.
The white men did same to entire sub Sahara African.
In the words of Desmond Tutu "when the white man came to Africa, they asked us to pray, we knelt down and closed our eyes, before we open our eyes, they took our land and gave us the Bible in return "
Not exactly!
The Missionaries came for their own purpose independently of the government!
The British government came for their own purpose independent of the missionaries!

But the missionaries are White people, hence they are protected by the government.

The British came for land and resource grabbing purpose QED!!

I am sure most Nigerians have related to the Northern Parts of Nigeria as if they are a homogeneous block. Unfortunately the North is not homogeneous

Where are the notable Hausa People in Government?
Are the Hausa people a minority tribe in the Northern Nigeria?

This is my personal opinion please!

Seun , Lalasticlala , this question need to be answered by a larger audience

I wonder what brought all these. Do u have mission abt these or u jst want to see the two tribes fighting so that u can start laughing. I'm born and brought up in the North and it's likely impossible for Northerners to engage in this kind of tribal debate except that there is a joke between Hausa-Fulani and Kanuri-Fulani. This kind of topic you're creating is unnecessary, worthless with no aorta of sense. I don't mind giving vu what u want but can u tell me 10 pure Fulani out of the list u mentioned.
Point of correction, Fulani women are the ones getting married to Hausa people because Hausas are known as business men so they use their money to marry beautiful Fulani girls selling fura and nono.

History had it that the hausas were voodoo worshipers before the advent of Islam.
Othman Dan fodio launched a bloody jihad on the progenitors of the modern day hausas.
Once Islam was accepted, it becomes the way of life for the people. Most of them abandoned their voodoo and magic in favour of Islam.
It was written in history books that the aim of the jihad launched by othman Dan fodiyo the progenitor of sultan of Sokoto was to conquer the whole of Nigeria. However, he stopped in Ilorin and surrounding area.
Who knows? Maybe you and I would have been shouting Allah akbar. God forbid.
you are too ignorant

1.Yorubas have been proudly practicing Islam before the hausas embraced it.Islam got to Yorubas via Mali not fulani. The reason why Islam is called IMOLE in yoruba land

2.No war was fought by uthman dan fodio in Ilorin.
