It is advised repeatedly that Allaah, The Glorious and Majestic, be asked that He makes every Muslim reach this honourable month. He should ask his Lord to make him reach it and aid him in fasting its days and standing in its night (for prayers) with eeman (faith) and hope (for reward). How many individuals are there who will not reach this month with Allaah's (will)! Even if what remains are a few days!!

Therefore, my advice to every male and female believer is that they supplicate and pray to Allaah with truthfulness and sincerity to make them reach this honourable month aiding them to fast it's days and stand it's night with eeman (faith) and hope (to get reward). He should also be concerned with repentance and renewal of repentance before the entrance of this honourable month; so that, the month of Ramadan enters while you are free from your sins which Allaah had already wiped off from you with your truthful repentance. Also, there should be truthful resolution that you'll be steadfast in Ramadan and leave off everything Allaah, The Glorious and Majestic, has prohibited.

This is how a believer should be, he should have a truthful resolution and he should strive in Ramadan protecting his limbs from the prohibitions of Allaah. He is to increase in goodness during the day and the night then resolve truthfully not to return to his sins after Ramadan; rather he is to be determined to continue good in Ramadan and other than it, because he doesn't know when his appointed time will come for him. Therefore, he is to be determined to do good and pious deeds so that he may be granted success to be steadfast up to when his appointed time descends.

May Allaah grant everyone success and guidance; may He make all the Muslims in all places witness the fasting of this great month and stand it's night for prayers; may He grant them eeman (faith), hope (for reward), truthfulness, sincerity and hastiness to doing every good. May the peace and exaltation of Allaah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his household and all his companions.
