HOW TO INVEST YOUR FIRST N100,000

If you are just starting out or you have saved N100,000 in a bank account and you need to invest this money into something, here is my advice on how you can go about it.

This is not a professional advice and you can either take it or sieve it..

1. INVEST IN YOURSELF

This looks so simple and common sense but most people don’t do it

The most important investment you can ever make is the investment in yourself

This is the only investment that can truly guarantee you 1000% returns

Whys that?

The better you become, the more money you can make

Every other thing can be stolen from you but the investment in self cannot be taken away

Most people don’t know that more money follows competence, courage and consistency

THE BETTER YOU BECOME, THE MORE THE MONEY YOU WILL MAKE

Money spent on personal growth and development is never a waste

If everything is taken from you, it’s the investment on yourself that will prove your competence

A day to a class I hold consistently on whatsapp, I lost all whatsapp chat history and all notes I’ve written to teach you this class, but the investment I had on myself made me breakthrough.

Spend more on personal growth and development than what you spend to impress people

I have spent over 150K from January till now on personal growth, this is even small compared to what some of my mentors spend on personal growth weekly.

2. LEARN A HIGH INCOME SKILL

There is a difference between a high income job (like shell), a high income profession (like Medicine) and a high income skill (like copywriting, UI/UX, Content Writing)

The first two requires longer time, training and resources. The last one can be learnt in 2 months and the rewards are can run into millions.

Believe it or not, there are programmers and copywriters (high income skill) who earn a lot more than lawyers (high income profession). You can earn over $2,000 as a Copywriter in a week

Learn high income digital skills. Learn what will be relevant in 10years from now.

The moment I learnt Copywriting and content writing, my finances changed.
I forgot I'm a fresh Corper searching for jobs.

The moment I dived into creating streams of income with my NYSC savings, I became financially confident.

I began to teach like minds on Copywriting and content writing.
I teach people how to create and approve Upwork accounts.
Their finances skyrocketed and I am happy people made it through me.

My advice is, learn a high income skill that can help you fetch more money.
Invest in courses and trainings.

Learn relevant skills.

3. CREATE A DAILY STREAM OF INCOME

Daily streams of income are businesses that bring in cash on a daily basis.

Even if it is 1k a day, it is better than nothing or waiting at the end of the month.

The bike man, tomato seller all make money daily.

The most common daily streams of income are selling digital products in the form of eBooks, courses and videos or training people online.

I have 4 daily streams of income. I have digital trainings, I trade digital currency, I help to create and approve upwork accounts, I teach how to create your Upwork accounts yourself.

Invest in creating a digital product or reselling one that works.

For example, I paid N25,000 to learn how to approve upwork accounts and in 1 month I made more than N60,000 from that one stream alone, I paid N30,000 to learn Copywriting, Content writing and how to drive traffic to your blogs, whatsapp status or your social media handles (The good news is, I could teach you if you are interested)

4. START A SUPPLEMENTARY BUSINESS

Supplementary businesses are businesses you start by leveraging an already existing business or traffic.

For example and this is very basic, if someone is selling akara, partner with them so that they can sell bread on your behalf. That’s just the idea.

Look for where the traffic is and leverage on it.

It is a model I’ve used over and over to reap passive streams of income.

I have a friend who provides a particular service, I bring him clients and he pays me commission.

I pay people commission by bringing in clients for me.
Leverage is the keyword......

5. INVEST IN TIME

You wont be here forever, you must make each second count. You must utilize the very best use of each second given unto you.

Life is time. Time is life

That is why it is called “Lifetime”

Let your enormous impact be felt by millions of people.

Invest in Time. Don’t waste your time.

The Rich spend more money to save time while the poor spend more time to save money.
The Rich prefer to travel by air to Abuja from Lagos in 1hr 15mins and pay 45k.
The poor would prefer to travel by Road to Abuja from Lagos in 12hours and pay 8k.

Don't waste your time, learn digital skills.
Create Digital products
Don't be left out, learn digital skills that will be relevant 10years from now.

There's a difference between a high income job or profession and a high income skill......
