There stand a monster
Like a giant beast
Before the continent of Africa
This is no beast with claws and fangs
It is a beast with deadly parasites called Malaria
Over 480,000 lives go down annually due to this monster
Its venomous grip does not spare the unborn child
It has caused Mama Africa about 200,000 still births
Mothers watch helplessly as it snatches away their bundles of joy
Fathers swim in the ocean of hopelessness and anguish

The monstrous giant enjoys a smooth sail in the course of causing destruction while the people hide in deep-seated fear

At a time when all hope seem to have been lost,
A worthy prince from the tiny land of Idumeje Ugboko comes to the rescue
Hope beckeons!
He offers to bell the cat just like the biblical David - courage that was lacking

He blows the trumpet of hope
He does the unthinkable
He embarks on a journey to the white desert
With his army of researchers

Alas! The monster is frontally challenged!
Soon, Mama Africa would have one less thing to worry about
Fathers can sleep with their two eyes shut
The Prince has out a stop to the menace of the blood-sucking beast
His team have dealt with mosquitoes for you and I
It is indeed, a new dawn!
