Why should we bailout a thief accused by his own people of looting state treasury?

I am not against the release of Mr Okorocha by EFCC. The fact that he said that a governor and Emir intervened before he was released, shows interference and that the EFCC is not independent.
The fact that professionals running government agencies are bullied and intimidated in their jobs by politicians is one reason why the country is retrogressing in all indices of development. These institutions that are supposed to be neutral in their decision making as professionals, now serve the interests of politicians for fear of their jobs.
Can you imagine an America President dictacting to the FBI? If it were so,former President Trump would still be in office in America.
We copied America presidential systems,but failed to adopt its practices.
The Nigerian politicians have destroyed the judiciary,the civil service, the police and armed forces. Even at the state level, a governor will tell a supervising engineer to certify a job that is deficient.
