I am a sex addict. I have done all I could to stop this addiction but no way. I can't stay for two days without sex. I am just tired of life, at times I think suicide.

Are you certain you have tried everything? undecided

There are two sure ways to be rid of that problem.

1) See a Psychiatrist to help get you on treatment, probably for life, to help you manage the problem. Now there are bound to be side effects mind you but I can assure you that there are indeed effective drugs out there to rid you of your libido at least while you continue on treatment regimen. undecided

2) Other, more permanent solution is to give up and do instead as Jesus Christ commands. As far as Jesus Christ is concerned, you are already guilty of sin from the moment you built up lust in your heart. So, first, you have to choose to see the problem as you would any other sin, where sin is disobedience, a contradiction of God's will and command. Once you do that, you the begin to learn the truth of Jesus Christ, His teachings, as far as Sin is concerned and obey His commandments regarding such things. undecided

As Jesus Christ said, In John 8, when you know the Truth and act on it, the Truth will set you free from slavery to sin, even the sexual kind. The best thing about this option is there are no negative side effects and rather than manage the condition, you rid yourself completely of it and every other forms of sin that you have been struggling with. undecided
If you choose option (2) , please read through John 8 to get you started, and then get an audio Bible and listen to the Gospels as many times you can, paying attention to the Words and teaching of Jesus Christ and doing as He commands. undecided

Until you are transformed to hating SIN, what you love will always draw you to itself.

Truly give your life to CHRIST and HATE sinning against He who bought you with a price.

On a practical side:
Why do you keep on tempting yourself and still believe you've done everything? Remove the source of temptations and be free!

Hi there.

I'm very sorry for your trouble.

Many Christians go through the same or similar things to what you are going through. I don't know if you are a Christian yourself, so I don't know if my answer will matter to you, but all Christians have one solution. That solution is also available to non-Christians if they want.

The first thing to know about addiction is that it is fueled by a lie. That lie is that you have no power to control yourself in a given issue, that you cannot rule over your own desires or impulses.

Your own body will help to prove this lie to be true too by producing consequences for any rebellion against the desire or impulse that it throws at you so consistently.

But it is still a lie. Every human being has a free will. We have the power to choose whatever we want to do from among the array of options that we are given by God. That it isn't easy to choose a given thing or to carry out our choice does not make this false. Choice is weird like that. We sometimes have to defend our choices very vigorously.

The thought of fighting a battle like that everyday for the rest of our lives or for an extended undefined future is often what makes it difficult for us to fight. But this too is where the Bible is such a big help. First, the Bible tells us that we can fight, and, second, it tells us that we only need to fight today's battle, the battle of right now.

This second truth is the one that makes the first one easier to use, but it is also the harder one to believe. Our bodies are bodies of sin, so they actually are the enemy that we are fighting or at least the rebellious servants that we are fighting to subdue. It is therefore to their benefit if we believe that winning today's battle is meaningless given all the losses of the past and the absolute certainty of a new battle tomorrow and a real and strong potential of future losses. So, this second truth is the one more attacked by our own selves. That is, we find it harder to believe that we only have to win today's battle than to believe that we do have the power to win. The latter remains a theoretical axiom that is meaningless as long as the former is not practical.

But that is what the Bible says:

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Matthew 6:34 (NKJV)

That is, tomorrow is not your fight. Only today. This is the key to beating addiction of any kind: You only need to not give in right now, today.

However, there are no vacuums in life. If you have grown used to doing something all the time, and if your body has restructured itself through habit to doing a given thing all the time, then stopping it is going to have both physical and psychological feedback. You will very likely find yourself bored, distracted, irritated, and maybe even suffering real physical illness because of it. What then?

Some of these effects you will have to wait out. Some of them you may be able to completely eliminate by engaging yourself in other things. Whatever we addict ourselves to costs us in time and energy and almost certainly money. If we are no longer spending these resources on these things, what are we spending them on? If nothing, then we are priming ourselves for incredible relapse. If nothing more productive and desirable, then we are still priming ourselves for incredible relapse. In other words, to stay free of addiction, we must be choosing to break out of addiction so that we can dedicate ourselves to something more productive.

16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.
Rom 6:16 — Rom 6:19 (NKJV)

So, those who would be free of addiction must be willing to commit themselves to something else, something more worthy of their resources and more rewarding in the long term. Human beings are built to seek out compensation for every investment of themselves. Addiction works because of the payout in pleasure. Therefore, to break it permanently, it must be replaced with something that is more rewarding in both the short and long term, at least in some way.

For believers in Jesus Christ (and for all mankind really), there is nothing sweeter or more rewarding than God's truth.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
Psa 19:7 — Psa 19:11 (NKJV)

Committing to hearing (or reading), learning (by listening to pastor-teachers), believing, and applying the truths of the Bible in all the multitude circumstances of our lives has a payout in pleasure in this world that can leave even the worst skeptic stunned with surprise. Only those who have never tasted it doubt this. Those who tasted and left it are those who forgot it because of a failure to continue over time.

The intricacies and variety of Bible truth can really bring one to experiencing something of the sweetness of Heaven here on earth. It makes for an excellent replacement of anything that anyone is addicted to.

Alternatively, some of us fill up the vacuum with exercise, social interaction, and/or work. These things work too to the degree that anyone pursues them. They also have their own payout in pleasure. And they are necessary to some degree in this world anyway. The primary problem with preferring them to Bible truth is that they cost those who prefer them the eternal pleasures that Bible truth guarantees to those who seek them.

I'll say a prayer here for you.

Cheers.

Go to MFM prayer city for 3 day fasting program.

There is a power behind the addictions. The power needs to be destroyed through fasting and deliverance prayers.

Thst is the plain truth. I was also a victim before. It was God that saved me

I could have sex twice a day 7 times a week. Even though I was married , I was not satisfied with only my wife. It was as terrible as that.
After the deliverance , I could control my urge for sex easily.

You will not be asked to become a member or asked where you are from. All you require is no eating for 2 days . You will break your fast the 3rd day. You will also be given prayers against the spirit wife to take home.

Lastly , you must be born again. At the prayer ground , they will advice you to give your life to Jesus and they will pray with you.
There is no need to go if you are not born again. It will not work for you.

You must be holy and belong to God to be delivered from Satan .

There is no human on this planet who is not an addict of one thing or another because we are all imperfect. It's when you know that your addiction directly goes against God's standard you'll become traumatised. Romans 7:21-23
Don't worry we have a helper who cares, he is ever willing to assist the weak, he is the father of the fatherless, our condition brings sorrow to his heart {John 11:35} so be rest assured that no matter the condition we find ourselves once we are willing to work on our imperfection he will counsel us on how to overcome our weaknesses! Romans 7:24-25
If you are willing you can overcome it in Jesus name! James 5:13-15
You need to be with the servants of God, they will assist you on necessary steps to take so that you can stop that habit. undecided

If you're born again, try this very simple thing.

Firstly, the Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please God. When Christians are sick, they have faith and quote the scripture "by His stripe I am healed". When Christians are in need of financial need, they have faith and quote "my God shall supply all my needs..." or "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...". But when they sin or are struggling with sin, they don't know how to use faith (not their faith but Christ's faith - believing that God is good and wants you made whole).

So Op, whenever you find yourself struggling with this sin or any other sin, confess out loud "I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus". Jesus Christ, who knew no sin became sin for you that you might be righteous in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)...Even Romans 3:22 says the righteousness of God is by faith in Jesus Christ.

So again, confess that statement out loud every time you find yourself sinning. Right in the midst confess it. The devil doesn't want you to believe Jesus has made you righteous. He may whisper in your ear and say you're a hypocrite...that how can you be sinning and still call yourself righteous. Well how can a sick Christian still believe by faith that he/she is healed? Cos you have to go by the Word of God and not by your circumstance.

You may not overcome this struggle immediately but gradually, they're falling off you. One day, you'll just realize that urge isn't there anymore. Cos faith is calling those things that are not as though they are. Confess you're righteous in Christ and see miracles happen in your life. And this confession goes for your every inheritance in Christ Jesus! Since you're righteous in Him, every blessings that belong to the righteous are yours!

Why do you think it is abnormal to like sex? Man is by nature sexual.
Why do you think having sex once in two days is abnormal? Some people have sex multiple times in a day every day so why should you feel guilty if you have sex once every two days?
I don't know your age but it is quite normal to have raging hormones at adolescence and I am quite sure you will outgrow your serial urge as you get advanced in age.

I'm sorry to hear about your addiction. A friend of mine had a sex addiction, and I helped him deal with it for a long time. It started after he divorced his wife. He was having a hard time without her and was angry that she left him and at first just revenged on her with different girls, ABDL. But then I saw that this behavior only got worse, and he started drinking almost every day. I got him to go to a support group where he admitted to having a sex addiction. He was treated by a psychologist and a psychiatrist. And with my help, he was able to get over this phase of his life.
