Insecurity has been an insuperable issue in Nigeria and it is getting aggravated day by day. It's an indisputable fact that Nigeria is a zero secure country in all ramifications. No where is safe anymore in dear country not even our rooms.

Due to poor security or no at all, people are not safe in their houses, offices, at market, mosques, churches, on roads and almost everywhere. Kidnapping, terrorism, cybercrime, banditry and robbery are the major challenges we have as far as insecurity is concerned.

Kidnapping has reached its zenith. Legion people are kidnapped everyday. Some have been kidnapped without any trace using them for rituals, while some are abducted with a view to collecting ransom from their family.

Terrorism is also in its peak. Bombing of churches, mosques, schools and public places is constantly witnessed, and has not been curbed. It is egregious and flabbergasted to hear that a group of terrorists has been disturbing the peace of Nigeria, a country with veteran soldiers, for almost a decade without a sign of solving or getting rid of the belligerent group of gangsters.

The last straw that breaks the camel back is cybercrime as it is taken with flippancy since it has been instigated. Yahoo-yahoo, the criminal sobriquet of swindlers and their evil profession is a prevalent trend that is affecting morality. It also jeopardizes the future of the youth because many youths now believe in it more than education. I can castigate Yahoo boys, Niners, G-boys and 419 for their indecency, but I can't overlook unemployment too. A person who wants to cleanse another person from their peccaminous deeds should know that they will exchange it with a better one.

In searching resolution for insecurity in Nigeria, as a society reformer, "Building a more secure Nigeria with technology" is the major way of averting and bringing insecurity to a bare minimum. Today, technology has immensely advanced in all fields. Many machines including automaton, drone, CCTV camera and some other detector or monitoring devices have been designed to mitigate human power and make things easier to do.

Therefore, if Nigerian government can equip our police and other forces technologically, the so-called insecurity will be practicably solved and drastically waned down. It will also help to instill trepidation in people because they are aware of the technology that has been put in place.
The internet network should be improved and made available everywhere so that any intended devices will be functioning everywhere. There should be CCTV cameras everywhere as well as drones which will be constantly patrolling everywhere. Also, choppers should be made available for policemen in case the drone or other monitoring devices detect any harmful operations or criminal act.

I usually find it funny when someone's phone is pilfered which is absurd in industrialized countries, because the thief will be easily caught. Petty theft is also ubiquitous because there is no technology at all or policemen do not use them. It also is very bad that Nigerian government cannot afford buying a chopper and monitoring system for each 774 local government in Nigeria, while some individuals in Nigeria have one or more private jets. Without all these common technology machines, how would Nigeria be safe to live in?

Furthermore, calling and bank alerts should be constantly monitored by police and other agencies so that they will discover or suspect anyone who is planning or engaging in unlawful things. Most importantly, the agencies should monitor the bank alerts for safety purpose and not for their poor pockets and starved stomachs.

In conclusion, I vehemently believe that if all the machines and devices can be made available and our police force is trained technologically, the issue of insecurity will disappear like an army of soldier ants in the sun. Besides, we should not only focus on making them available but also using them effectively.
