Hi there. I've been a gym instructor for over 7years now and a certified personal trainer for over 2years and while I LOVE doing business over the internet e.g affiliate marketing, helping people achieve their body goals is my other passion!

Here is my story. At age 17, I weighed 37kg!! 37kg!! Just imagine how skinny I was! People hardly bullied me in school though, because I knew how to make friends with bigger boys, but that didn't stop me from feeling inadequate, especially because I had a beautiful girlfriend (I'm physically cute grin) So insecurity set in.

She left me some years after high school for a bigger dude, and this is no joke! This was my second real relationship at that age ( I started loving early grin) and we had dated for 5years. (We dated throughout high school and two years after)
I nearly went into depression, but God had provided me with an elder brother, who understood and helped me cushion the shock!

He too was skinny like me, and together we made up our minds to change the narrative. To change our story! No more were we going to continue feeling like victims! Being afraid of the possibility of people picking on us! ( It's not a good feeling as a guy to know you can't defend yourself). So we made up our minds that we were going to 'get muscles'. We must 'grab!'

So, we googled a few facts about body building, and with what little facts we could gather, we went about searching for a good gym.

We found a few, worked out here and there for a bit, but we never seemed to be making any head way.

We could hardly tell whether we were doing the right workouts, the right way or not.

We grew increasingly discouraged and frustrated, when by a stroke of fate and luck, a couple of months into our search, we came across a FITNESS COACH.
At first he was reluctant to take us up, I guess because of how skinny we were. He was also doubting our dedication to the cause. He didn't want to waste his time training people who weren't ready to see the program through.

However, after a while he agreed to train us. He was really good at what he does, and from then on, we knew we were on the right track! We had finally found our remedy!

Results took a couple of months to become visible, but with his constant encouragement and counselling, we made it through the muscle aches and often overwhelming pains.
He also taught us about nutrition, what to eat to add weight, when to eat, how to combine foods, what supplements to take, how to make our own supplements, e.t.c

Fast forward a couple years later, I'm a gym instructor, fitness coach and personal trainer, weighing 75kg (I'm still building). My workouts have been off an on, there have been a lot of distractions, but here is the single most important lesson:

ALWAYS BOUNCE BACK OUT OF A RELAPSE!

So, what was the point of Sharing my personal story? I assume you might or might not be eyeing a career in the fitness industry. So why the story?

Well, this piece is aimed at ANYONE who is seeking to achieve a specific body goal.
Do you want to lose weight? Maybe you are a man and you are not so proud of your potbelly or a lady, shy of your 'Christain Mother arms'?
Or you want to add some weight, maybe pack on a bit of bulk or muscle mass because, well, you are thin like I was?
Or you just need that perfect six packs to flaunt at the swimming pool?... Whatever your body goal is, whatever perfect body picture you have in your mind, it's totally achievable!

You just need the right advice, guidance, and the determination to follow through, and you are almost at your destination! Time is all that remains.

Now, you may have tried different workout programs in the past, different diet plans, crash diets, maybe even registered at the gym a couple of times, to no avail. Well, you are not alone. I have come across many clients with the same experience.
Like I said, you need the RIGHT information. Not just any information! One Size doesn't fit all. Sometimes you just need a workout regimen made specifically for you! And you alone. To fit your needs.

Well having said all, let's dive into what lessons I have to offer.

I'll start by offering one of the most important advice/task I give to anyone who comes to me wanting to alter their bodies NATURALLY in any way...

OBSERVE WHAT YOU EAT!! OBSERVE!!

This is a huge secret I just let out for FREE!

Now it might not sound like much of a secret, but believe me, it is!

You don't know how powerful this is, until you've tried it.

Now, the simple truth is, a good percentage of what you eat is responsible for how you look.
Genetics, body type, health and environmental factors, exercise/fitness all play key roles too.. but what you eat, how you eat, when you eat, are very important!

Your diet takes a whole 50%, exercise/fitness/workout takes 40%, and the others take 10% (real fact! In my opinion) of responsibility, for how you look.

So, you should start taking a closer look at what you eat!

I know you might think 'Oh, here we go again with the diet thingy!!' but no, hold on now... This isn't just some new diet program.
This is the remedy people pay thousands of naira to hear. This could prevent serious diseases for you in the future, if you are prone to being overweight.
You won't believe how many people die from weight and bad nutrition related illnesses..heart failure, heart diseases, breathing defects, cancers, kidney failure, you name them!

You who wants to ADD weight, are also not exempted! Low blood sugar, stomach ulcers and damaged organs are equally a result of bad diet!

Now, back to body goals.

First thing I instruct my new clients to do, is to get a FOOD DIARY! In their phones, or a book and a pen, with which they are to record every single thing the eat or drink, everyday, in real time.
So, you eat a snack, write it down. You drink water, write it down. You eat lunch, write it down, in detail. Every thing that you ate.
This, is the best way to start working on transforming your body. By being accountable!
This way, it becomes very easy to pin point the things that need working on.

If you have more body fat, than you would like, there is a high probability, that you consume more calories than you need.
Now Many overweight people would swear, that they eat very little. Well, the problem is not how often you eat, but when you do eat, what is the content your food? How many calories are there?

If you want to ADD WEIGHT, i.e you are more skinny than you would prefer, then the chances are, that you are consuming less calories than you need.
You might say, 'but I eat a lot o!'. Well like I said, it's not what you ate, it's the content! The calorie content!
