I don't know the kind of feeling I've been getting these days, I'm in my worst feelings. I've never felt like this all my life, in fact in reality I have never been so down financially and emotionally all my life.
Here's a brief story of my life; I came to Lagos in 2015 when I gained admission to my MSc program, at first I didn't want to do an MSc immediately after nysc, I wanted to work because then I think it was easy for parents to link me up with a friend of theirs who's a big shot in the federal government for employment, but they all insisted I go for an MSc first of all, I agreed and went, during the MSc, it wasn't easy surviving due to lack of funds, so I learned content marketing and writing then began freelancing on Fiverr until my account was deported and I sold it. After MSC, I started working at a firm in which I was been paid 100k monthly before the company closed down and retrenched all its staff. I tried applying for jobs upon jobs but no feedback, I had to even edit my CV into 3 formats of which I had to remove my MSc qualification from one, and the other I removed my BSc qualifications so I could apply for any job, luckily enough I got a driving job that paid me 30k monthly, I did it for about 4 months until a friend told me about the ehailing service in Lagos which was more lucrative than the driving job I was doing, so I applied to be a bolt driver and I got an offer for a car, I then immediately left the driving job and then began ehailing driving in Lagos, I was doing very fine, making money comfortably and paying my car owner 35k weekly until a close client of mine gifted me a car last year, I fixed the car and started using it, but the car gearbox got spoilt after few months, changing it has become an issue for me, I've weekend for funds from every family and friends I know but all to no avail. Now I've been jobless since last year, I've been so broke, I eat once a day most times, my rent has expired, my landlord told me today she's going to throw me out if I can't provide her with her money before the middle of next month. I've been having several suicidal thoughts and I'm just so confused. I even tried seeking spiritual help, if this my situation is spiritual, but money was still demanded of which I just had to leave. I'm just so tired and frustrated. The time is 3:26 AM Nigerian time and I'm just sitting outside my compound just thinking of what to do and I just decided to open a nairaland account and seek help on what to do. I'll appreciate your comments. Thanks. By the way, I'll be 30 by this year.

You're not alone. It is for the same reason I am awake, don't give up on yourself and perish the suicide thoughts.

If you still have the cab look for a mechanic that can get you the gearbox on credit (I know it can be very expensive), fix the car, start driving and pay him back. I know none of this easy but give it a try.

I'll advice you to get saved and start to attend Church regularly (I'll recommend a Bible beleiving Church) including midweek services.

The weight of the challenges can be overwhelming not to have a burden bearer.

Bros op, here is a piece of advice for you, tested and trusted by men and those I recommended it to. Try exercising very early in the morning till exhaustion sleep and wake up trust me you will see live anew if you can keep this habit up for 2 weeks. Everything is all in the mind and exercising "jogging" helps us reprogram our minds again.
