To achieve ''Much More Maize'' yield as a local producer in Nigeria, follow these 6 steps as proposed.

1. Land Preparation: Prepare your land using RoundUp to kill the weeds to the root, plough and harrow for good soil bed.


2. Seed Sowing and Planting: Proceed to plant the Dekalb® hybrid maize seed using recommended planting spacing of 75 cm by 25cm and at one seed per hole.

3. Pre-emergence Herbicide Application: Apply Lagon® at 500ml per hectare (50ml/16 Liter Knapsack) immediately after planting or not more than 2 days after planting to prevent emergence or growth of weeds for eight weeks.

4. Fertilization: Ensure to adequately fertilize the plants at recommended rates.

5. Apply Insecticides: Check for the presence of Fall Armyworm or any other insects and if detected apply a combination of Belt Expert® and Decis®

6. Bountiful harvest.
