Top of the day Nairalanders...This is a very critical one for me and I hope You can help me profer sound counsel. This was from a junior colleague who is like a brother.



Boss! I got a secured spot ( training inclusive)with a recruitment agency in Australia that helps preapre and get through passing the necessary medical professional exams and also helps to secure a job ..The recruitment process is so long and getting a job extremely difficult too as well; the reason I opted for them...I paid heavily with the help of a loan which I'm still servicing by the way..

Fast forward 24months later after securing me the job I was unable to get licensing from the medical board; they have stated I have to be in Australia to observe at least 6 months at my proposed work place before they can grant me registration.

The agency has contacted their immigration lawyer and she has advised that I travel on a Tourist Visa and get the whole process sorted out while there, however there would be no work rights meaning I would fend my bills without working..How would I cater for my wife and child.

This has put me at a cross road whether to proceed with the process or probably recalibrate.This has given me significant concern over the past few weeks..

A problem shared is half solved and I believe you can give me some imsight.
