Over the past few months, there've been major leaks, speculations and rumours around the forthcoming iPhone 13 flagship. Among the many speculations, the recent reports that Apple might be introducing a 120Hz refresh rate for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max captures our attention as this was heavily rumoured for the iPhone 12 models but at the long run Apple shoved a 60Hz refresh rate screen in our hands. While there’s no official statement revealing the features of the iPhone 13 , a new report from South Korean blog TheElec seems to strengthen these rumours.

According to the report, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will use RFPCB, and sport LTPO thin-film transistor (TFT) OLED panels which will be provided by Samsung. This further establishes earlier claims by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and tipsters Jon Prosser and Max Weinbach who reported that iPhone models from Apple will get 120Hz displays.

High refresh rate screens are among the biggest smartphone trends for mobile phone manufacturers. Companies like Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus already offer mid-to-premium smartphones that are packed with a 120Hz display.

Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 13 flagship sometime in September this year.
