Prestigious Award Show, BMAA Returns, 'Next Rated' Winner To Get Car by Pokovirtuousblo(m): 3:00pm On May 11, 2021
The most prestigious entertainment award show in Bayelsa, Bayelsa Musical Artiste Awards (BMAA) would hold its 5th edition, 2021, after a break last year. The award show which has Niger Deltan Music Star, Walter Wisdom Baraladei better known as Wallzee as its director, sparked rumours among critics last year that they won't be holding the event anymore - given that there was no 2020 edition.

It would seem entertainment lovers in the state who have always seen the award show as the only event that recognizes real talents and honour them alike, would have a reason to smile this year - as the 5th edition is set to hold.

Taking to his Facebook profile a couple days ago, BMAA's Director, Wallzee announced that he sees blessings and double celebration because the 5th edition of the award show would be organized this year.

"BMAA2021
5th edition
#doublecelebration
I see blessings"

In a related development, Bayelsan street-hop sensation, Starblink took to his social media handle yesterday to inform Bayelsans that the Next Rated winner 2021 in the award show would receive a car, adding that he got the information from a credible source.

"BMAA 2021 coming bigger/better and stronger. Congratulations in advance to whoever will win the next rated category. He/she will be going home with a car. I got this information from a reliable source".

Entertainment enthusiast who couldn't contain their excitement have since taken to the comments section of his post to express joy. While a user said he'll be the one to win in that category; that it's a great news, another said it seems they want artistes to kill themselves in a bid to win - a few reactions below:

Neez Tee, 'Na me go win am'; Jodin Chermson, 'No be chise'; Official Teazyvibez Noni II, 'Oboy...no be chaise'; Slim Dinky, 'Can't wait'; Respy De Urhobo Boy, 'I hear say na me go win am oh'; Fregene VDjnere, 'That's wonderful'; Ologidi Waletunz, 'Orna want make people die for the matter'; Mc Monica Dchildrensdadi Chisom, 'We dey wait o. E Choke'.

Pokovirtuousblog gathered that BMAA's Director, Wallzee launched the award show in 2016. They also organized the 2nd edition in 2017, 3rd edition in 2018, 4th edition in 2019. Although they couldn't hold the 5th edition last year, fans are very much glad to know that the 5th edition would hold 2021.

The prestigious entertainment award show which has always had 32 categories in each edition, has succeeded in inspiring diligence, creativity and synergy among artistes in the state since its inception.

All efforts to confirm from the show's CEO what Starblink said the prize for 'Next Rated' winner would be proved abortive, at the time of filing this report.
