I do not care about defining I care about Using!
I want my spirit to keep driving me only to the houses and destinations of Joy, peace, happiness, sweetness and pleasure and not the houses of sorrows, anguish, despair and troubles!
That is the beginning and end of knowing what spirit is and how to drive carefully.
You can keep increasing the definitions while I keep Living the Good Way of the spirit Life!

Just imagine how the inhabitants of Mecca were responding when Muhammad was telling them that God is not many but one after more than 2,000 years they've been worshiping various gods in Mecca! undecided

Well it's now a story, but if you're truthfully searching for answers to questions, don't think it's your line of thought that will justify the right answer. Remember that each religionsts in this world justifies the religion of his/her choice. So to ascertain where the truth is hiding all you need to do is open your heart and find where exactly it is.
Do you believe in the story of Noah?
How many people were saved?
Who is behind the confusion back then?
Is Satan still around now?
Between God and Satan who always have the majority?

Answers to these questions will help you to know that Satan always have more than 90% of the earth's population.
So calm down and learn.
Only JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are worshiping the true God, i was a Muslim and my belief has not changed
if God is one, then his worshipers must be united in worshiping Him and there shouldn't be any contradictions amongst them!

This mindset is what led me out of Islam because each group i keep seeing can't claim they're that one and only worshipers of Allah, they're saying Allah will accept all Muslims yet there is internal conflict leading to bloodbath within Islam. Allah can't be the true God when he failed to maintain peace amongst his worshipers.
JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are the one and only group of worshipers that has maintained LOVE, JOY and PEACE in their organization just as i believe should be in the worship of the true God. That's why i'm one of them today!
Therefore if you're contemplating on the emergence of thousands of religious groups claiming Christians. I am targeting those producing the positive FRUIT i expected from God's people! smiley

I'm always amazed at the way you guys twist your Book. No Christian denomination is specifically written in the Bible. Each is just clutching at straws interpreting as they so desire.

You entered one chance when you try to explain what is working out perfectly for the person who wants to hide his uncertainty in delusion!
When Jesus sent us out he specifically asked us to go in search of the lost sheep of the house of Israel! Matthew 10:6, 15:24
Sheep are known for their attributes:
©Feeling insecure without company.
©Ever listens to the voice of the shepherd.
©Easily identifies and move with their kind.
©Always calling out for help to locate the rest.

Therefore if we find someone who doesn't have such feelings definitely he/she is not a sheep, so we need not waste our precious time arguing on doctrines. The first question should be have you found Jesus' group?
His or her response is enough to know whether he's a sheep or not! smiley

Simple and direct question I asked the man above that requires either two affirmative or negative answers Yes/No instead he’s busy ranting. Perhaps someone should help him out.

See lamentation!

You asked your question freely why would you now want to deprive me of the same freedom you had and enjoyed?

Yet you would consider yourself fair and balanced, do you now see that you are An Unfair and Imbalanced person?

Let a thief, steal from a thief and let the JWs preach only to the JW.

It's a open discussion so if you feel it doesn't tally with your beliefs nobody is forcing it down your throat. There is Freedom of SPEECH, EXPRESSION and WORSHIP so you personally can only ignore or reject but you don't have the right to decide for billions around you! wink

Why not admit you’re tensed up because I closed my comment with “Choose your words wisely” and you’re scared you might fumble. Do you think I don’t have Scriptures in my arsenal ready to disprove your faulty claims?

grin Seeking opportunity to reargue! grin it can not work! grin

The First Rule of Good and Reasonable Argument is Freedom of Expression and Equality.

You must be Free to ask any reasonable question that flows out of the issue and the respondent must also be Free to respond to the question, EQUALLY!

Secondly, Every Argument Must Come to A Reasonable Conclusive End. Eternal Arguments are a Vexation of spirit and a Nullity. And I hate Nullities and I do not engage in it.

Thirdly, I have many different ways of freely answering but you are JW and Unchangeable, therefore I will give you the Fastest Answer that will terminate any further argument. For arguing with you people, is the doing of a nullity!

Do you not see your brother complaining that I must answer him in the way and manner he so prescribes, as though he pay my wages?

If you believe you've given the right answer then there's no need to be worried over what he says unless you just love exchanging words where there's no benefits! 1Timothy 6:4

Saying something is a cult is different from saying something looks more like a cult.

Was JW mentioned in the Bible? Yes/No!
Which disciple started it and when?
I'm confused as to when Jesus authorized JW and why he waited for that long!

Isaiah 43:10-12,21, Yes. (Compare Matt12:15-20, Jesus is Jehovah's witness, His chosen servant).
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour. 12 I have declared, and I have saved, and I have showed; and there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and I am God. 13 Yea, [d]since the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?

, 21 the people which I formed for myself, [g]that they might set forth my praise.

Started with Adam, his rebellion led to exit.
Continues with Abel to Jesus Christ and the disciples to JWs in our present time.
Read about them, Hebrews 11:1 to chapter 12 verse3. Acts 15:6-14- the people (group) chosen to bear Jehovah's name.
Somethings were not revealed to Jehovah's Servants until the disciples received holy spirit.
The now understand Acts 15:14 better (compare 2 Chronicles 7:14 & Acts 15:6-14).
They all knew they belong to Jehovah,
1 Corinthians 3:23, John 17:6. Acts 3:13.

Jehovah's chosen Servants have existed throughout human history.
But in John's time (the last apostle to taste death), FALSE Christianity/anti -Christs was gradually gaining ground and widespread.
The results ? Christianity mixing with paganism (weed choking the wheat) , true Christians were not organized as they were in John's time because after he died ,1 John 4:1-3 began to fulfill in earnest for many centuries.
Until Jehovah's chosen Servants rose up again after many centuries of inactivity.

Many persons who preached against Trinity, immortal soul, birthdays etc were murdered by Christendom during the Inquisition.
Those teachings were borrowed from paganism. JWs don't teach such.

He always resort to insults and abusive speech whenever i try to reason with him so i left him to continue arguing with misinformed churchgoers. But if he should come near JWs then i'll have to help him out.
YES, Islam is my father's religion though i love, cherish and honour my Papa but nepotism doesn't help in issues relating to FAITH.
No matter how much i love my father if i found out that he was brainwashed to live all his life in falsehood then it's my duty to enlighten him because that's the reason he gave birth to me, sent me to school and keep praying that i become greater than him in all things.
What most people often get wrong is thinking their father might be wrong on the issue of the best style of haircut, designs (clothing or shoe), choice of women, hobbies, location to build houses and so on but they feel their father can never be wrong on the issue of faith!
Maximus doesn't think like that. He is my Papa and i appreciate all he did for me but on this issue of faith both of us will have to go our separate ways if i found out that he's wrong because he is not my God! smiley

Kobojunkie:
where did Jesus Christ liken the Kingdom of God to paradise please. undecided

He mentioned Paradise to the thief on the cross sure, but how did you arrive at Paradise being a part of the Kingdom of God? undecided

According to Jesus Christ, in the Kingdom of God are found two domains.... Heaven and Hell and only those who believe and obey Him according to John 3 vs 1-21 can gain access to any of the two domains. The same Jesus Christ also made it clear to all that His Kingdom is not of this world. undecided

You suggest that there is a third domain, Paradise, and this third domain is right here on earth... basically countering most every thing Jesus Christ said regarding His Kingdom, hence my desire to know where you get this idea of yours from. undecided

Is heaven not paradise?
Paradise is not a third domain but heaven.

In the Kingdom of God, which is not of this world, sold us by Jesus Christ, there are only 2 domains, and they are Heaven and Hell , both of which are not of this world. undecided

Paradise appears to be of this world and this from Christ's statement on the cross to the thief stating that he, the thief, would be with Him, Jesus Christ, in paradise that very same day. We know that Jesus Christ did not ascend to Heaven until after His resurrection, leaving us with likelihood that paradise is a place in this world. undecided

Jesus Christ promised Him paradise... some place we know that is definitely not Heaven or Hell. undecided
I am not entirely sure where paradise is because the word is not used in the Old Testament scriptures I I gotten my hands on. But my guess is it refers to a place where they go to sleep with their fathers before them .I.e. those of them who earned eternal life. undecided
