If you're interested in doing it yourself, then that's where you should be. You'll have to be careful though because you can easily destroy your PS3 permanently if you make a mistake. Some people are just more comfortable tinkering with computers than others. Fisolucci is an extreme case because he jailbroke his PS3 the very day the hack was released. Plus he used the highly dangerous waninkoko CFW even though he knew it had permanently destroyed thousands of other people's PS3s that day (the guy has balls of steel). Me, I waited a whole 3 days until a safer CFW came out and still allowed plenty of others to risk it before I tried. Fisolucci is the only person I know who used the older hack that needed an android phone or a particular type of scientific calculator to do. Most people have no idea how to even find this information, talk less of having the balls to actually apply it and risk their precious consoles.

Also, I'm sure the Fisolucci will be happy to negotiate price with you. Plus if you don't want to pay, all you have to do is download the games yourself. There's nothing hard there. Personally, I'd rather pay the money than wait for a game like Mass Effect 2 (22Gb!) to finish downloading.

There is nothing special about jailbreaking ps3s. . . With any decent guide, a half-brained monkey can do it.

A. Get the required files: OFW 3.55(if you're on lower FW), CFW 3.55(kmeaw), MD5 Checker(if source not fully trusted).

B. Install the OFW via XMB, then install the CFW via service mode.

It's as simple as updating your console, which you've probably done before.

Bros, stop trying to scare people into patronizing you. Kmeaw CFW does not brick consoles. The only potential risk of bricking your console while jailbreaking(power failure) is the same risk you face during a regular OFW update. Or do you also offer this your "professional help" to people updating their firmware when they play new games or sign in to PSN?

i respect guys that jailbreak for a fee, it might seem easy but they assume full responsibility of your console for the few minutes they jailbreak it knowing fully well that if anything goes wrong, they will buy you another ps3. I learned from jailbreaking iphones that things dont always go according to plan in these things and knowing how to get out of those situations without breaking a sweat is what separates the boys from men. lol.
Anyways, fisolucci did mine for me and i have no wahala plus the customer service is just on point then have you seen his games list? its very impressive, whats the point of jailbreaking your console when you dont have any correct source for games? Fisolucci, to me, is just the complete package (jailbreaking and games), the dude even gave me movies and music as jara. I cant shout.

peePZ dont be scared to update your ps3 to d latest OFW3.60/3.61 itwill still be jailbroken to your satisfaction and even better cos some games coming out will need the new firmware to play and it might take time for a game pacther to be out
