A Nigerian lady has taken to her Twitter handle to share a video of a N16k prawn and fried plantain she was served in a Lagos hotel, IgbereTV reports.

She described the price of the food as "daylight robbery". She concluded by saying that it wasn't her money that was used in buying the food.

what is luxurious about these places? this is exactly what i encountered at lacapgne tropicana and radisson blu that made me very angry. nigerians know how to charge high but both service and quantity does not match up. 16k is over 30 dollars, if i take 30 dollars to mcdonalds or another normal eatry, i would get my money's worth. in a country striken with poverty, low purchasing power, this is the rubbish they are giving you and calling it luxury. luxury ko.
