First, Gen Attahiru was not in any unit in the east, when those atrocities were committed.

Secondly, during his stint as the GOC 82 DIV NA, he barely spent two months in a row in the office, as he was also a member of Arms Deal Probe Panel. His Chief Of Staff and BDE commanders who most times receive orders from Abuja were running the show.

Lastly, if Buratai was still the COAS when this unknown gun men thing began, I don't think we would be here discussing this. ...the whole of South East would feel it.

You are not more Igbo than I am.......you don't feel the pain of those senseless killings more than I do, but I still stand here to tell you that, if there is anything Attahiru would do, it is to stop Genocide from being committed against our people, even if it means going against power that be, or even losing his life.

I didn't just wake up to make these assertions..

Remember, I served in both Onitsha and Enugu as a soldier.

I witnessed this things, firsthand.

I am not going to discuss everything here....but you're free to run with your opinion"

He's afraid to mention the names of those he claimed ran the show so they don't stop his pension, pick him up at night and finish him up in an undisclosed dungeon. grin Nigeria is an unfair society.

So what do we use this information for?
Does with resurrecte Ikonso and the plethora of innocent young people gunned down by the NA just for bearing a flag?

Does it grant Gen. Attahiru heavenly rest?

If Idi Amin was a Nigerian when he died, He would have been hailed a hero.

Many Nigerians has mental issues. They forget things soooo quickly that you start asking God if he forgot to put reasoning capability into these set of Idiots.

How can one be mourning a killer that Got to this post before his death killing unarmed Children, women and men in most gruesome deaths like ordering his 82 division soldiers to Kill protesters as they feel like. Pouring Acids on them, burying them in shallow graves both in Aba and Nkpor.

My happiness is that the fat pig started burning alive here on earth before his miserable life was cut out

You are the stark illiterate.

1. I have military in the family, I know how the chain of command works
2. The late Chief of Army of Staff was at the time the GOC commanding the 82nd division for the periods mentioned
3. His Chief of staff would have asked for permission before he gave the order for the massacre.
4. Irrespective of the facts above, he was still responsible for the recent massacre of innocent Igbo villagers and children

I hope you have learnt something new today ? Good !!

The problem of Igbos is their inborne pride.
They are naturally unsubmissive to any authority.
Thats why they don't have a king or bow to any.
The so called traditional rulers, the igwes, ezes and obis are just they cuz of money from govt houses.
They only respect the council of renowed elders in their various kindred families.
Being forced into a modern country with other superior tribes will never be accepted without grudges.
Igbos and fulanis have superiority complexes as far as nigeria politics z concerned.
The only thing that will calm them is to appoint them into some key sectors of the govt, else... They will continue to be disloyal to the authorities.
Igbo are good people, but na their love 4 money spoil them.
Hausas are good bu na islam spoil them.
Yorubas dey neutral, smart and trickish.

Every tribe, indeed, every human being has an in-born pride based on their identity, culture and feats. Nothing to do with Igbos particularly.

We don't have kings because as Jesus believed, we don't believe any man should LORD it OVER other men and rule them with FORCE instead of CONSENT. That's a good thing. It doesn't mean we don't respect our elders; we do.

Igbos can live in Nigeria if they have equal opportunity and are shown the respect they deserve. This is no different to what other tribes expect.

Someone should tell the soldier that wrote this piece that Buratai felt the wrath of ESN when he was still in charge.
In fact Buratai was still the COAS when the soldier that was running around Orlu, looking for a place to hide, was videoed.
It was in Buratai's regime that the army faced ESN in Orlu and lost some men, while ESN lost none

ESN ended Buratai's reign on a negative footing.
