This country is turning to something else and i dont think Nigeria can ever balance again, my cousin who works in a private school got back home after the proprietress sacked her for asking the student to pray for the redemption of Nigeria, and also telling the student to observe a minute silence for the COAS and the military personnel that lost their life in the plane crash.

Is it a crime to pray for one's nation again?
The woman is an enemy of the nation for her to have rejected prayer for our dear nation.

Don’t know the exact reasons your cousin was fired, so cannot really comment on that...
But just to note that AMERICA KEEPS CHURCH AND STATE APART - and prayers are BANNED in public schools!

do they make such video in schools? How will you feel coming to a school and seeing your ward or pupil praying in Hindus style or with native chalks all over his body praying for Nigeria.. school is for academic, let the lady go apply for a Sunday school class.

Point of correction, school is for learning which very broad, ever heard of extra curriculum activities, academics is just the main. how about PE & music.
Lets be realistic here, even if its mfm primary school there would be time for everything ... we sef go school we pray on assembly grounds n thats it for the day.
if you are a muslim n your biggest worry is that ur child can pray like xtains send the child to a muslim school.
That you as an adult decided not to pray is ur choice let your kids make that decision tew when they come of age don't deny they now.

point of correction, kids have no will that is why its easy to train them before adulthood sets in, its the responsible of adult around kids to make decision for dem, what could kids possible be praying for if not there parent .. think
