You keep digressing from the main point . The pastor wronged this man either you like it or not . Until when we learn to keep religion and sentiment away from our common sense it’s always gonna be a problem. I’m not disputing the fact that nobody’s holy, but the matter at hand right now is that of the pastor .
I never said the man in question didn't do wrong, It is just too much on the over side that people call out and condemn pastors and Christian ministers like the islamics and the spiritualists are saints. The man referred to as pastor there is a man who is lucky to be rich. we have Christian minister working in places and making money, if he decides to start a company with is money, it is his business. People should learn to define their relationship.

Church and business are different.

His wife, the Deputy MD was the major trouble for me aside other issues of salary delay, lack of staff welfare, etc.

She was always disturbing me for my vision, passion, calling, etc. I told her that I would prefer to keep it to myself. Then they were both micro-managing me till I left.

Why your bad belle, are you one of them that cheat their workers?

If you are, go and change

And note that not everyone is equipped to be an entrepreneur, and if you are one, be honest, be kind and be fair to your workers

Its immoral to be unjust to people, but understand that many workers are just jealous of oga, with s mindset that he's relaxing and enjoying their sweat.

I worked for a pastor for 7years running an mfi.
The pastor is a cursing machine. During a meeting I remembered him telling all members of staff that we are all smelling.
The seizes workers salary as a punishment for an offence which an ordinary querry could sort.
Unnecessary deduction from staff salary in the name of ask ebi for his own personal or family occasion.
Some members of staff were told to go pay #20 naira in another state for a simple mistake
You are forced to buy shares and support his church project.
This is just few of many attrocities he has committed

I really appreciate your comprehension but the fact that he’s a pastor means a whole lot . A lot of religion if not most of them are referred to as mentors and people without blemish . You have to agree with me that it’s really disappointing and sad that this kind of treatment is melted out by a religious cleric .

From this statement be like those Abuja big churches or na oyedepo na guess
It’s very unfortunate that most Nigerian pastors that has companies are running their companies like gods. 3 out of 5 pastors don’t usually treat their workers well.

A friend who works in a telecom servicing company owned by a G.O of a church in Lagos has had his life stagnated because the pastor has refused to pay them going to 4months now. The worst part is that he doesn’t deem it fit to explain to them why he can’t pay.
Can you believe that a man with 3 kids would trek kilometers to work and can’t even feed his children while the GM & MD (Both of them are pastors o!) keeps buying expensive cars and building his gigantic church?

He just recently laid the foundation for his school meanwhile he owes his workers salaries going to 4months by the end of may.

So, what’s your experience? Is it good or bad?

Working for a pastor is the best thing than can Happen to anyone, even if they don't pay you, God will remember your labour and sacrifice to his servant and still bless you. But if you complain or bad mouth him, then your life will be miserable. This I have seen.
which heaven you come from or are you a pastor? Even in Deuteronomy ' the sweet of your labourer must not dry before you pay his due'

This is a senseless post. Why single out Pastors? Pastors are humans just like you and me.
what the post wanted to draw out is you that preach should show what you preach with your behaviours.

WELL MINE IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO WORK ON-GOING HE STILL PAYS US. WE DONT PRAY FOR SALARIES. AND THIS COMPANY IS OWNED BY A MAN -OF GOD. OUTSIDE GOD'S ACTIVITIES, LIFE OF EVERY MAN IS BASED ON CONSCIENCE. THE MAN CLAIMED TO BE MAN OF GOD AND BEHAVES SO COS HE KNOWS THERE IS NO WORK OUT THERE SO NO MATTER HOW U TREAT THE STAFF THEY WILL ALSO DECIDE TO REMAIN WITH THE SLIGHTEST OF HOPES THAT THE MAN WILL EVENTUALLY PAY. MOST TIMES THIS IS NOT REALLY THE CASE. PEOPLE WICKED SHA. IS NOT BY MAN -OF GOD ANYTHING. WE SHOULD STOP LINKING PEOPLE'S LIFE WITH GOD. SPEAK ABOUT THE MAN AS AN INDIVIDUAL NOT AS A MAN OF- GOD.

I once work with a deeper life pastor he owes salaries like 4 months and him, wife and children were always looking glamorous.... I resigned the day I was told the hairstyle her daughter was wearing was worth 80k... That was almost double of my salary i was earning 45k as a secondary school teacher

Your friend is working for the Lord

He is sowing seed into God`s kingdom, and will reap later.

Like you said, the pastor is investing in the church, which is God`s house.

He will reap the gains one day.

You better be joking dude

That's the issue. How can one separate both when the pastorship ought to be his way of life. Meaning his whole ought to be of exemplary standard and good behavior. Whether he has business or not, he ought to show good attributes in any sphere of his life cos he's a Pastor. There's so much responsibility attached to pastorship as that ought to be his way of life.

I agree with him. The title is irrelevant. If you ever see a post like the example he gave, it will be protected under the Islam thread where you have to swear that you are a Muslim before commenting. How on earth will a MOD bring this to front page if the aim is not for Pastor bashing

Is this a joke

Seed is not enforced. You have to get the awareness and knowledge first. If you don't have it know the reason you sow seeds, How can you appreciate God when he Multiplies?

God will never allow you to work and go hungry for him without a case or goal? Every man deserve the fruit and reward of his labour.

Dear PASTORS

Don't enslaved anyone in the work of the Lord, a work done without passion is without reward. A work that the workers feel enslaved with acrimony attracts God's judgement. If he/she is not your disciple that you should discipline, Take it easy with them in Grace. God once told me, To grow in GRACE, sow in GRACE, Give others What They don't deserve. My Elder Brother once says, If you don't Give your Anointing will not increase. Pastors, Pay your workers well.

God bless.

Am open to your views not correction because am confident this is really coming God. I feel it, Experience it and see it. This is a Secret of GRACE and MINISTERIAL EXPLOSION.

I once worked for one back in 2019. Both the woman and the man were pastors. The pay was was very low and sometimes it will be half of your total salary.

One thing I noticed was that whenever they want to introduce a bad policy, they start with biblical verses and then give a flimsy reason for the decision. You cant fight it because what can you do when your coworkers has been brainwashed grin

Well when I look back now I understand why they couldn't pay or slashed salaries. The school was being constructed with different loans. They had to pay back so there is no way they won't cheat the workers if at all they intend to meet up with the loan requirements

Hahahhahah
